Typical old-time roadside motel at a reasonable price. Bed was comfy; room was clean, and bathroom was functional. Refrigerator had a separate, large freezer compartment which was a plus. Continental breakfast was limited, but adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Funky in a good way

Overall for the money this place is great. We are not talking about the Hilton here but we have stayed here for a night two years in a row on our way to other adventures. It's convenient and a bit dated but the old school charm is there too. This place has some history and I slept well so i am happy.

This is a fabulous place to stay. They have given the rooms personality, a welcome change. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. The air/heater worked extremely well. An affordable, clean place to stay. We would stay again if we come back!

Excellent and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. We had a spacious room. Limited options in breakfast area but quickly restocked after staff noticed this. Fun and cozy areas on the property to enjoy.

The property is older which i really liked, the rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most definitely will stay their again when i go skiing, only 25 minutes to sunrise ski park.

This is what a modernized but also classic motel with roots back to ‘49 should look like. We came to the motel just to stay one night on our way to Sedona, but very glad we stopped here. Unfortunately there are no proper dining options in town after 8pm during winter off season, so we resorted to Safeway. Make sure you enjoy your meals in the motel in the designated dining area. This was closed off when we ate and were told off by the hostess that we were eating food in the wrong room. Would gladly stop by again!
