Disliked: Room comfort

Neighborhood & Split disappointing

Apartment appeared to be in semi-seedy area, but soon realized Split as a whole is a dirty city, rather than beautiful resort town we were expecting. Apartment A/C was ill-equipped for record high temps. First 2 nights we moved mattresses into the living room and sealed off bedrooms and bathroom. Slept on the floor; trying to keep cool. Took 3 days of constantly running the unit and fans to cool the apartment. Kitchen was very functional and well equipped. Great glassware - including cool wine glasses, champagne flutes, shot glasses and beer steins. Fridge was excellent size; hotpot and microwave came in handy. 2 grocery stores within walking distance, but no restaurants nearby. In general, not a nice neighborhood to walk around, however their was a neighborhood peacock.
Stayed 3 nights in Jul 2024
