We really enjoyed our stay at Sleep Split. The hotel staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and a true pleasure to interact with. We checked in with Kreso, who made sure that we got a room we liked (as we had initially booked a twin but wanted something a bit more spacious). We ended up in a newly renovated apartment style room that was perfect for our stay. Though newly renovated, you still get that old world charm as they made sure to keep certain details such as exposed bricks. The unit was clean and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen. The location of the hotel was perfect too! Since cars can’t drive in the old city it was great that we were somewhere where drop off and pick up is seamless. It takes less than a few minutes to walk from the hotel into the city walls and explore its offerings; it also is a short walk to the harbor. They really have thought of every detail to make your stay enjoyable from beach towels, a TV with 100 movies to choose from, to a safe, a first aid kit, and even a selfie stick! You really feel the love in all the details when staying here. Check in and check out was also a breeze. With this hotel you really feel like you have come home to Split. Kreso accommodated our requests, gave us tips for where to go along with what to see on our short stay. He additionally made sure we got a reservation at a restaurant we had chosen. We also interacted with another staff member (who’s name I did not get) who was beyond helpful! I look forward to coming back! Thank you Sleep Split for such an enjoyable stay!
We stayed in this hotel for two nights to tour Split. The location is perfect within a few minutes walking distance to the palace and everything it has to offer. Minutes to the waterfront and the tour boats. It was mentioned in one review that the reception was on the third floor so I am glad to have known that. We arrived late and tired so this would have surprised me if I had not known. The entrance is a bit disappointing but the reception was great. Our room was very spacious with a kitchen, bath, living room and bedroom. All the windows opened which was lovely. The room was very clean and very modern. Remember there are no real amenities in the room so bring your shampoo, conditioner etc. There was a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge which we replaced from the little grocery store next door as it was a quarter of the price. Yes adjacent to the building is a supermarket so very convenient. I would recommend the tour of the cart and driver. Ours was the medium tour but the longer one would have been a bit better.
This is a perfect hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms quiet and clean. So quiet - the door to the main building hallway is padded even, I'm assuming to cut down on noise. There are plenty of outlets and also USB ports for charging. It is just half a block from the old town. It's decor is quirky, with books and boardgames available. There is coffee and tea in the room. There is no restaurant or bar, which is fine as you will be steps away from as many as you want. It shares a building with some apartments, so the very small reception is not on the ground floor. Just follow the signs and use the elevator or stairs.
We stayed in 5 hotels while in Croatia, and we liked this one the most. We would definitely stay there again. Great location - a block away from the north gate of Dio Palace. The design is bright and sleek/modern. We had a suite with a kitchen which allowed us to eat breakfast and snack in the suite. It was a very comfy space to hang out with my sister's family. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom has a single sink with plenty of room for our toiletries. Strong central A/C was appreciated during this very hot week! Comfy bed and good shower. There is a reception desk on the 2nd floor there from morn thru 10pm. They were very friendly, providing directions and recommendations. Housekeeping was friendly and super quick to clean the room (seems like as soon as we left!) They even offered to help us with the luggage even though there is an elevator. No lobby area to sit with friends. Multiple keys provided. Overall great vibes and a great way to start our stay in Croatia.
We were delighted with our room at the Sleep Inn. First off, the staff in incredible. They went with me to park the car a few blocks away in a secure parking structure, which took a ton of anxiety our of my trip. The room was very spacious. We had an end room, with the separate bedroom. The, kitchen, bathroom, living room were all lovely and very clean. Exactly as shown in the pictures. This is as close to old town as Id ever want to be, but you are still practically staying in old town. I'm not sure how people find their rooms in the old town :). We cant say enough good things about Sleep Inn. When we come back, we will definitely we rebooking here.
Stayed here for one night while visiting split. Very friendly staff who kindly gave information about the area and recommendations. We had mini apartment and it was well equipped and large for two people! Perfect location, just outside the old city walls (less than 5 minute walk into old town) so easy for taxi drop off and pick up and didn’t need to drag suitcase round very busy streets. Would definitely recommend staying here!
I was skeptical at first because this was not described as a full fledged hotel... I was wrong! Lovely stay, room was clean spacious and even better than most hotels I have stayed at. The location is also perfect! It’s a 2 min walk from the palace, and a 5 min walk from the main promenade. The price of water, coke, wine in the mini bar is also very reasonable. Everything during our stay was amazing, the front desk was also extremely helpful. There is no pool, gym, amenities etc but the room/ bathroom/ and location could not be better!!!
From the start Ivana was fantastic with my group booking for 14 people. Helpful with all my questions and helped with local recommendations. On arrival it was so well organised being met and shown to our rooms. The rooms are gorgeous and so clean. They are serviced every day and they are immaculate. Beach towels are included which was really useful. The location in the old town is amazing. I can’t wait to return.
We spent 4 days in Split with the 2 of us. We also rented a car and used their parking facility. Sleep Split is located in the heart of Split and the place is clean and modern, the staff is friendly and super nice and helpful. Definitely recommend it!
We stayed for 2 days but wished we had booked for longer! Very efficient and friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble. The outside and stairway is “original “ but the hallways and rooms are super modern. We had Room 205. Room was immaculate. Excellent facilities - such as comfortable bed, iron/ironing board, drinks bar in fridge (at a cost), Netflix, movie selections - even a selfie stick to borrow! Location is great - on the doorstep of everything but far away enough not to be “among” it all. We had a car but it was parked in the underground garaging provided by the hotel and we didn’t use it. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. You must check out Ciri Biri Bela. Only a 10 min walk from Sleep Split. Would return.
