This hotel was one of the most amazing hotels I've stayed in, in Europe. I had an AMAZING view of the Adriatic Sea from my room. I had a lovely terrace to enjoy the sun and sounds. The room itself was HUGE compared to other European rooms. Lots of room to put suitcases! Even the bathroom was HUGE! The pool area looked amazing and would love to spend the summertime here! Breakfast isn't included in your stay but it is a wonderful buffet of so many options. There would only be one drawback, this hotel isn't really close to any touristy things in Split. But the modern clean look and feel make up for the location..
What i liked? Almost everything. The room was incredible, a suit, a very comfortable bed with soft pillows, a dressing room, balcony, living-room and big bathroom. The service was fantastic. Breakfast with lot of choice, and quality. Some classy details. The private beach is good but with many rocks. Watch out your feet! The only thing that i didn't like so much was the confusion in the interior pool. Sometimes the kids made to much noise.
We stayed in this hotel from Mar 5-6, 2017. I'm in a group tour from the Philippines. The property is huge and has a great view of the Sea, i did not enjoyed much their beachfront coz we were all excited for our tour of Plitvice Lakes. I have to say though that the staff are accommodating and friendly. Much to my delight, the breakfast is good. I had a good sleep and the rooms are clean.
We visited the spa for the day for a friends birthday. It all started off well, we were greeted well, booked treatments and were shown to the spa. The indoor pool soon became full of children playing and shouting. This is absolutely fine however it could be heard throughout the spa. A friend and I had a treatment which was constantly interrupted by children running around the corridor and shouting. The beauticians doing our treatment had to interrupt them and ask to stop which was appreciated. Then we returned to the spa to enjoy the rest of the day. Despite the "quite area" signs being visible on the wall, the spa was full of people shouting and singing. A man enjoying the spa had to ask them to be quiet, they just laughed. Then a member of staff asked them to stop, but they continued. We ended up having to leave the spa early because it was intolerable. We spoke to a member of staff on our way out but they just agreed it was frustrating. But they didn't apologise and nothing was really done to help.
Just a wonderful hotel and the people are so friendly and nice. Loved it ! The location was great and the beach front room overlooking the pool was nice and spacious. From the front desk to the pool EVERYONE was so very nice.
The hotel was modern, clean very pretty and the staff was great. The breakfast buffet was good but the bacon was not cooked enough but most of the hotels we stayed at were the same. I would certainly recommend this hotel and stay there again
Just arriving in this big complex you will understand that you were right choosing it. Even before the season you'll enjoy a nice weather and a professional service in this spacious hotel. Room superior was a nice surprise. Multiple lobbies, swimming pools and fitness, exclusive spa and everywhere it is clean and nicely organized. We really enjoyed our days here...
I had the opportunity to visit the Dalmation Coast recently and chose the Le Meridien Lav Split as my destination. My stay was in end of March (2017) which is a couple of months before high-season. I'd say the weather was absolutely perfect and couldn't have chosen a better time. In the evening the air was so refreshing and cool at night that I left my balcony sliding doors open for a fantastic sleep. The staff were friendly and turned out to be very accomodating when a friend and I informed them that we wanted to extend our stay by one night. They quickly did some room shuffling and made sure that we didn't have to change rooms. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. I really liked the Sage body wash and Peppermint shampoo that the hotel provided. The walk-in shower with rain-head sprinkler was nice as was the towel warmer on the wall. Love warm towels! Although the weather was warm and sunny, the pool area and jacuzzi were being worked on in preparation for the high season. Couple of tips for staying at Le Meridien Lav Split 1. I prefered the restaurant associated with the hotel, Conlemani, versus Leonis. Leonis had some food quality/perception issues whereas Conlemani was top notch with their servings. Your mileage may vary (YMMV). 2. If possible, besides seeing old town Split, you should go to Trogir...especially if the weather is nice! A minor room for improvement... 1. I was given a suite which had access to an outdoor deck. The deck chairs were strewn and the deck hadn't been maintained. It would have been nice if the deck chairs were set up and arranged for lounging. This was possibly due to being so early in the season. Overall, I had a very tranquil stay. I left feeling refreshed, but certainly my visit was too short!
Good looking but is not a 5 stars hotel as they say. Rooms are not very big. Pool area could use a refresh. There is a yacht parking so you can admire a lot. I recommend a catamaran trip. The Split area is lovely.
Stayed as part of a conference. Have to say this place is amazing. The check in was efficient and the room large and clean with a view to die for. The staff are so friendly. We ate at the Italian restaurant on the Marina and the waitress was so good to us. She tried to match wine to our meal allowing us to try different wines until we are happy. My partner had a haircut at the spa and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They fitted her in at short notice and she had a very leisurely cut to a high standard. I will definitely return to enjoy the warmth of the Croatian people.
