We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Tamaris. It is right on a small beach with sunbeds and umbrellas available but we were happy to sit on our patio and walk across to swim in the sea when we wanted to. The beach is clean but is gravel and thete are rocks in the sea so swim shoes are recommended. The room itself was spotless when we arrived and we had clean towels provided every day. We didn't cook but there is a hotplate, kettle and fridge. The wifi was being replaced while we were there so we did not have internet access but this did not affect our holiday. There are a few nice restaurants within walking distance, in both directions. We would definitely stay here again - thank you.

My good friend from Argentina and myself met in Croatia on business and pleasure. We stayed at Villa Tamaris. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and upon arrival that unit was not available. Duji, explained this to us and gave us a single room on the beach. He also refunded through Hotels.com the difference between the 2 bedroom and single room. Duji was a very clear communicator and provided us with excellent service. We really enjoyed our stay and would have been delighted with the actual apartment we rented. We were very satisfied with being on the beach as well. We had to share a bed and did not have very much room to cook and for our clothing. Duji was very helpful and assisted us with our luggage, directions and suggestions. He also helped my friend print her documents for departure. Loved the beach, ferry's to other islands, the Castle's, food, coffee and relaxation on the beach. Would love to return to Croatia again. Loved the shopping and food as well. The people were very happy.

Twenty paces to the sea

Took a last minute short break here and was very pleased . Nice quiet relaxing Location a 25 minute bus ride south of split . Just enough choice of restaurants without overkill. Would defo return

Right on the beach

When we arrived we were greeted and informed that we would be put up for 1 night in a different room as our room had been given to someone who had extended there stay. And informed we would be moved the following day. We decided to take another room which was exactly the same as we would have had but 2 doors down from it, so that we didn't have to move. Room was basic but comfortable and was right on the beach which was lovely. We didn't see a lot of the hotel staff but they were very friendly and accommodating when we did. Hotel was close to the supermarket and bus stop with frequent transport into split. Lots of good restaurants nearby which was also good.

Die direkte Meerlage ist einzigartig. Auch viele Geschäfte und Restaurants sind in der direkten Umgebung. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war schwierig, da die Dame nur kroatisch sprach. Sie war trotzdem freundlich und man erhielt sogar jeden zweiten Tag frische Handtücher.

Super appart hôtel sur la plage et avec balcon pour profiter. Savoir qu il n y a pas du tout de restauration même pas le petit déjeuner et pas de commerces réellement proches. Par contre bus direct pour Split devant la porte.

Der Ort und das Meer sind sehr schön. Das Appartment schön eingerichtet und sauber. Jedoch ist es eher für Familien, die ihre Zeit am Strand verbringen. Bis Abends um 11.00 Uhr spielen die Kinder vor den Balkonen am Strand und die Familien sichern sich mit Handtüchern und Spielzeug ihre Plätze ohne da zu sein. Abens in Ruhe auf dem Balkon sitzen und dann Bälle an der Wand zu hören ist nicht das was jeder mag. Für romantische Momente und Ruhe muss man zum Teil ein paar Strandabschnitte weiter weiter laufen. Dort ist es genauso schön und angenehmer. Es gibt leider keinen Bäcker in der Nähe, jedoch gute Restaurants. Alleinreisende die etwas erleben möchten, empfehle ich eher Split. Da ist immer was los. Ca. 15 min. mit dem Taxi. Für Familien die ihre Zeit sicher am Strand verbringen möchten sehr geeignet. Der Check- In war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich.

Vi hadde noen fantastiske dager på Villa Tamaris. Utrolig hyggelig personale. Upåklagelig rengjøring. Perfekt beliggenhet. Beliggenhet PÅ stranda. Kort vei til alt; strand, sjø, restauranter, is, massasje, buss og dagligvareforretninger. Smakfull mat. Rent og ryddig i gater og by. Rolig og trivelig atmosfære både på strender og i byer.

Hirveä paikka vaikka rannan läheisyys houkuttelee

Todellisuus ei vastaa netissä luvattua. Ilmastointilaite hajosi ensimmäisen yön aikana. Luvattiin korjaajaa seuraavana päivänä. Ei näkynyt 2:teen viikkoon. Päivittäinen siivous tarkoitti heille siivousta kerran viikossa. Pyyhkeitä satiin kerran pyytämättä. Lakanoita saatiin vasta pyynnön jälkeen. Jouduimme itse vaihtamaan petivaatteita. Saatiin kerran uuden roskapussin kylpyhuoneeseen, missa oli ainoa roska-astia. Ei roska-astia keittokomeron puolella. Kylpyhuone ilman ilmastointia. Saimme yhden avaimen ( kolme asukasta). Luvattu että samme seuraavana päivänä lisää avaimia. Seuraavalla viikolla meille annettiin toinen avain pitkin hampain. Loppupäässä he väittivät että päivittäisen siivoamisen puuttuminen johtui siitä ettei heillä ollut avain asuntoon. ... Ei mahdollisuutta saada aamiaista maksua vastaa. Ei ravintola... Reception auki 24 h. Ainoastaan teksti näkyi.Wi-Fi huonosti toimiva, hidas. Parkkipaikka vilkkaasti liikennöidyn tien toisellapuolella Kaksi eri ihmistä esittäytyi paikka omistajana ( vanhempi namnen ja nuorempi mies) Koska todellisuus ei vastannut annettuja tietoja pyysimme alennusta hintaan. Ainoastaan kroatia puhuva nainen (toinen omistajaehdokas) pyysi n 10-vuotiasta poikaa tulkiksi! Poika kertoi ymmärtävänsä melko huonosti kroatiaa. Koska hän on asunut vasta vähän aikaa Kroatiassa. .. Ehdotimme soittavamme tuttavalle ,Suomessa asuva kroatti. Hänen avustuksella saatiin alennusta laskuun. Jäi kuitenkin huono maku suuhun. 2 muuta suomalaisia paria kokeneet

Keskinkertainen hotelli upeilla näkymillä

Keskinkertainen hotelli, josta kaikista huoneista hieno rantanäkymä. Ok valinta, jos sinulla on auto, jonka kanssa liikkua ympäristössä. Podstranassa ei ole kuin pieni supermarket ja muutama ravintola. Jos käytössäsi ei ole autoa, suosittelisin ennemmin Splitin tai jonkin pikkukaupungin keskustaa (Omis, Trogir, Makarska). Huoneiden siivous ei toimi. Huoneemme siivottiin kolmesti kahdeksan päivän loman aikana ja niitäkin kaksi piti erikseen pyytää, kun wc-paperi alkoi loppua ja huoneen ainoan roskakorin ympärilläkin oli jo kasa roskia. Lasten leikkipaikka tarkoittaa lähialueella olevaa vaatimatonta julkista leikkipaikkaa. Ei siis varsinaisesti ole hotellin palvelu, vaan käytännössä kaikki alueen hotellit voivat listata samalla perusteella sen palveluikseen. Grillipaikka oli sen verran epäsiisti, ettei ainakaan meitä houkuttanut grillaamaan.

Dobbelbooket

Fint hotell. Elendig service. Når vi ankom hotellet fikk vi beskjed om å dra da de hadde dobbeltbooket hotellrommet vårt. Etter mye krangling hvor vi flere ganger forklarte at vi hadde forhåndsbetalt for rommet fikk vi omsider et annet rom for en natt. Neste morgen fikk vi beskjed om å dra igjen. Da var det hotellets eier som møtte oss i skranken, denne damen kunne ikke engelsk. Hun måtte hente en nabo. Etter mye diskusjoner igjen var det plutserlig et rom ledig. Vi fikk være der til oppholdet var ferdig. Grunnen til dobbeltbookingen var at den gamle damen som drev hotellet ikke kunne håndtere en pc, og hadde derfor ansatt en revisor. Men de kom ikke overens og drev derfor å booket rommene hver for seg. Vil ikke anbefale dette hotellet.

Hotell nära stranden, ok standard, dålig service

Vi fick vänta 2 timmar på incheckning, hotellpersonalen var dålig på engelska och bi fick knappt någon info under vistelsen. Hotellet låg precis vid stranden och rummen hade havsutsikt. Rummen var ok/dålig standard men vi hade eget kök. Vi fick dessutom byta rum efter halva vistelsen. Jag rekommenderar hotellet om man vill bo nära havet för en billig peng och inte tycker att service är så noga.

Een fijn hotel, pal aan het strand

Een mooie kamer, maar helaas geen planchet voor toiletspullen en geen haakjes. Mooie ligging van het balkon aan de strandzijde, aan de voorkant een drukke verkeersweg. Het hotel heeft een eigen strand met ligbedden en stoelen. Aardige eigenaar, maar ze spreekt alleen kroatisch, dus moeilijk communiceren. Je moet veel trappen lopen om bij de kamer en bij de receptie te komen.
