Magical stay, everything was more than we hoped for. We will be back for sure. One night there is not enough. The location, Chinchon, the Parador and the staff are FIRST class. It was not possible to thank all the staff one by one but hope they all know how profesional and welcoming they are.
Don't send survey mails out in German, We are not Germans! I tried to tell the Pardor this several times, but they didn't listen. A good experience is being ruined by sending out mails that we supposed to do the exact opposite
The parador is ideally located close to the plaza major and is an historic building. Well worth upgrading to a superior room. The pool is set in a garden and is very tranquil .excellent service when we were having drinks with more than one complimentary snack served. At night the restaurant tables were set out in the garden terrace. Interesting choices cooked perfectly
I always try to stay in a historical parador when travelling by car through Spain. This one was among the best. It has kept its historic character and is beautifully Mai rained and decorated. I thoroughly recommend it.
Hotel was very pleasant in the small town of Chinchon and very well located. Authentic with nice gardens and pool. Our room was basic but air conditioning worked well bathroom in need of upgrade. Discovered that using the bedside switch to turn off all lighting also turns off all powerpoints so phones do not recharge!
Very friendly staff. We were received with a smile. Breakfast was very good Excellent location. Right in the center of Chinchon. Rooms are good and clean. Good swimming pool We will certainly come back again
We have visited Parador Chinchon on previously on trips through Spain and have always enjoyed our stay. This trip we were disappointed with the room cleanliness. We found floor dust and when we moved the bedside rugs we found dust and dirt which must have been there for weeks rather than days
The hotel is in an old monastery, and the decor reminds you of that. Rooms are spacious, but not as sound proof as we expected (as could hear the tv from the next room). The grounds are beautiful, with hidden gardens and a nice pool area. Our room also provided a view of the local castle. Breakfast has quite a big variety but felt impersonal. It's quite a touristy place so seems to be always full.
Wonderful break in an idyllic parador. Chinchon was much nicer than we were expecting and we all thoroughly enjoyed our break. We will definitely be returning and would like to go when there festival in on.
We have stayed here twice. It is close to Madrid and after a hectic day in the city, it is lovely to come out to Chinchon and be able to relax in the peaceful atmosphere. It is also great to have the town immediately outside the front door, with other places to eat.
