This was a lovely place to stay for a few days as we visited family and did some touristy trips. Even tho' this was above a tavern and in an area with other bars and restaurants, it was very quiet. Our room was very quaint, the staff were exceptional, the food was wonderful, the breakfast was very good. We had easy street parking. Our room was clean - tho' very small. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Lovely venue & the staff were amazing. We were in one of the ‘cosy’ doubles which was plenty big enough & lovely to be provided with proper drinking glasses, coffee maker & even a teapot! Only downside was when we enquired about the roof terrace, members of staff didn’t think they’d got one & on exploration it was ‘out of order’

The best part of this hotel is its staff. They were all very helpful and just delightful. It's not a modern hotel but is very charming. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance and shopping a 15 minute walk away. We loved this place and would stay here again.

Oh, where do I start? Super polite helpful staff, amazing breakfast, thick fluffy towels, loads of pillows, cloud-like bed, fabulous shower, complimentary beer and water, and real milk in my fridge, gorgeous toiletries, clean comfortable room, v cool bathroom nightlight and good price. Sadly waa too tired to sample the bar and dinner on arrival but the menu looked lovely.
