Great location, comfortable rooms with character features relevant to the Titanic plus with all the little details you notice throughout your stay, like bath bombs, fresh milk in the fridge, dental kits etc. Excellent, friendly staff. Would recommend!

I love The White Star Tavern. The staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them especially the man and woman wirking the breakfast shift. All the little extras in the room are great. Rooms are lovely, they are clean, warm and well kept. Totally recommend a stay here if visiting Southampton

Nice room with good lighting, which is rare these days! Shane there isn't a plug socket near the mirror so you can use the hairdryer and see what you're doing. Breakfast was average - there wasn't a huge selection and the cooked food was not great in my experience. However, the pains au chocolat and the pains aux raisins were some of the best I've ever had.The staff were very good as is the location.

A warm welcome. The room was immaculate! Bathrobe & slippers were a nice touch. The room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Tea & coffee with fresh milk was available in the room. The breakfast was beautifully laid out, and food to order as well. Will definitely stay there again.

When we arrived on Saturday late afternoon the pubs downstairs and in the neighbourhood were buzzing. I was initially concerned that it might be noisy but it was totally quiet up in the hotel rooms. The room was tasteful and cosy, loved the bathrobe and slippers and the great shower. Comfy bed, black out blinds. Fabulous breakfast. Parking is not provided and is fairly expensive locally.
