The hotel is in the perfect location. The staff were amazing, seriously, each and every one of them. My bed was comfortable. Very safe. They were serving and accommodating. If you're looking for glitz and glam, this is not it. If you're looking for a safe, welcoming, and comfortable place to lay your head, this is it! We'll return! Great hotel. Beautiful bay! Great sunset views. Amazing beach!

I guess I mistakenly assumed there would be working internet. I went to this hotel with the intention that I work some during the day for a couple days during my stay and that was impossible because they have one router in the main office so your access to internet is based on your room’s proximity to the office. Ultimately I had to leave early to make up for lost time. Aside from that, it’s a normal hotel in walking distance of the beach and has most of what you need and nothing you don’t need.
my first experience with the hotel is when I walked in to check in and the front desk lady was on her phone for like 20 minutes talking to a friend or some thing about random things while there is a line of 3 people before helping us. She was very crabby and not super friendly whatsoever. Once we got to our rooms one of the beds were hard as a rock and one of them had really loose springs. we found a roach the size of my pinky literally dead in the floor. other than that everything else was pretty decent but It was still pretty unpleasant for paying over $200 for two nights
I liked that staff were friendly and helpful but what I didn’t like was the room. The room wasn’t what I expected, there was a lot of sand in the sheets on top and in between.. It wasn’t as clean as I thought it would be, the tray on top of the microwave had dust in it. I also didn’t like the smell of the room.
I truly enjoyed myself on south Padre island, the hotel was great and the customer service was excellent I will come back someday

The staff and manager were very welcoming and accommodating. 24 hour a day tasty coffee and the breakfast rolls were great. A short walk or or a 2 or so minute drive to a beautiful beach. We stayed several days past our original plans. Very clean.
