Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
I booked in early October and communicated a few times through the app and commcation was good. 3 days prior to check in I received an email stating "keys arrived" there was no information. So I reached out early morning day of and heard back from here around 11am stating check in was not until 3PM and shecwould tell me hiw to get in and her manager would reach out to me. After driving over 1700 miles for my nieces wedding we arrived to the property to find a car in driveway and 2 vehicles on front yard @3:04 PM check in was 3 still no key! We were able to walk in and we got hut in face with a horrible smell of sewage/urine and the house was an absolute mess. There were several people in the house. The woman said to us, I thought this was cxld! She stated she told the owner they needed to cxl the next coupke weeks... but when dud she tell them. Clearly there was knowledge before hand property was not habitable! My sister lived 5 miles from rental and my cousin and her family rented close by, so we were planning to gather, cook and play.and continue to celebrate. We had brought a giant cooler full of meats, and cheeses and mire from TX went to waste! VRBO team did refund and pay up to amt pd additionally towards hotel about 34 miles away. Its summer and peak season so hard to find right where we needed! Disappointed is an understatement. Our vacation was full of chaos and disappointment due to her lack of urgency to communicate!
