This hotel is in a convenient location, close to the castle. The rooms are nice and tidy, although a hand held shower over the bath was a little different than normal. The staff here were also friendly and very helpful.
Great location right in the midst of the old town. The luxury rooms are spacious, have comfortable leather lounges and charming views over the cobblestone streets of the old town. Excellent fine dining in the restaurant but also restaurants available soon as you walk out the door. Staff are very helpful and good English speakers. Highly recommend.
Great location. We could drive the car to the front door to unload, parking was down the street/hill, but not a big deal. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere. Our room was upgraded I guess because of it being offseason. We tried the hotel restaurant, which is one of the top rated restaurants and we weren’t disappointed. It was very cozy, the food was good and the waiter was quite friendly. The front desk staff were friendly and informative. There was a nice bottle of complimentary wine & chocolates waiting for us in the room, which was a nice touch after our long drive.
For 70 Euros a large room/suite and 2 European fresh breakfasts (best eggs ! And cake) and parking in that price . We came on a Sunday eve without prior booking- staff was super . Walking to great restaurants and ... a gem in a gem town
The location is perfect, just in the heart of the old city. The room is of superb quality and prices are affordable. Sauna is life saving in the cold winter days. Negatives: Breakfast quality is low and the breakfast room is dark, small and smelly. No free parking provided and the prices are very high
We just spent two nights in this hotel. Our room (suite) had to be changed prior to arrival and the hotel were very good about communicating this. We had an informative and friendly check-in and were still very pleased with the room we were given instead - apart from the handheld shower hose which we aren’t fans of (preferring a more fixed setting so our hands are free) - and there was fruit, wine and fresh flowers to greet us. The new room size was good and the amenities were lovely. The only problem with this hotel seemed to be their lack of replenishing anything. For example the breakfast was disappointing as things ran out and even when requested, new servings didn’t appear. The loccitane products in the bathroom were not added to on our second day there (which would be expected in other hotels). We had to ask for another toilet roll as it wasn’t replenished. Their own toilets near reception both had no toilet paper when I went to use them as we were leaving. And breakfast on the second day was worse than the first as a big tour group took over the dining area - egg, sausage and bacon all ran out - and it took a *very long time* before they were replenished. For guests that isn’t normal or a good level of service. If they had replenished food at breakfast and amenities in our room they would have received 5 out of 5. Even 4 out of 5 is being generous here on TripAdvisor. But I loved Cesky Krumlov. I loved that it snowed during our stay. And the room itself was very good. I think their manager just needs to step up the replenishment process as it let us down this trip. I would still recommend this hotel though and their restaurant was nice too. And the town is absolutely beautiful. I’d return in a heartbeat...
I had a last minute problem with a previously booked room in the city so we had to find an alternative place to stay. We arrived at the Hotel late at night and the young lady at the reception was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The entire staff was very nice and the rooms were impecably clean and well kept. We recommend it !!! Marco de Moura
We stayed there for 3 nights, the room was big , but not practical . service , it depends, some were very nice and friendly, but some were very mean. Basically, I found their training and service was not in one standard, the management and administration was not professional. One night, we were disturbed 3 times, first, our phone was rang , and a stranger with mandarin speaking to us, then 2 times our door was either knocked or rang by unknown people, and asked them to gathered tomorrow! But we were traveling by ourselves. Later we found out the hotel sent the wrong room number to the tourist group guide. The location was excellent, close to sight seeing point, restaurants and bars, local shops. most of the people there were nice. The price was not expensive!
We came during Christmas and the price was very reasonable. In fact, I would say it was good value in the end. The location is right next to the castle and a nice walk to everywhere else. It's the location that really matters here anyway. But besides that, the staff were polite and helpful...not overly gregarious like at other stays we've had in the region but still courteous and friendly enough. The breakfast was varied and excellent. I read prior reviews to the contrary so they must have fixed that because the breakfast was good. The room was cozy. The bathroom shower was a tiny box and hard for a tall guy like me but that's not really a big deal. Overall, a nice little hotel. Polite and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Great location. Good value.
Stayed for a night at this hotel. Arrived to the friendly smile of the night receptionist on 21/12. She's very accommodating and helpful and deserve full praise. The L'occitane toilettries are the best. Wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is just 600m from cesky krumlov town square and the nearest bus station Cesky Krumlov Spicak is 300m away. Highly recommended for guest
