The rooms are a little out dated, however our room was so clean. The lobby was just as clean. They were decorated for Halloween in the lobby. I was very cool and family friendly. I would stay at the Super 8 again!
The rooms were very, very clean, The staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to toll road and close to many excellent dining establishments. They offer a good basic breakfast. Parking lot is well lit. Will stay there next time in town.
Comfortable bedding! Clean environment. Only negative, the breakfast was terrible! Can't expect too much tho!
This was our second stay there. I needed to be in the area for some personal business and didn't want to spend much. I tried looking for a different location because my last stay there was less than pleasurable, considering I stayed a week while visiting family. But options with good reviews are limited. This time around I registered online and prepaid because last time they charged my card twice. I was happier this go around with the staff. Before i was accused of smoking in a non smoking room and threatened with being kicked out if they came and found any evidence. I promply let the staff know she should come right down becuase we are non smokers and had not been smoking. Neither my husband nor I smoke. I am severely allergic, which is why when visiting family we stay in a hotel. The hotel itself is clean enough. I did have to ask for a different comforter last time because ours had a very questionable dried substance on it. No real frills. The whole place could use a nice facelift. So, if you need a place to sleep and can put up with less than average accommodations you should be fine.
We love Super 8's but this place, at least the clerks, made it our least likable place. For whatever reason no one smiled or made you feel welcome. In the morning the gentleman attending the continental breakfast made me feel like he would have wished everyone would just go home. Just not welcoming. I had to wait a long time until someone came to the desk so I could check out. The rooms were clean but the overall appearance of the place weren't quite what we have gotten accustomed to.
We have used this motel several times over the years. Easy access from the Turnpike, located near several good restaurants. Relatively quiet area, helpful staff, clean room. We will continue to stay at this Super 8 any time we pass thru Indiana on the 'Pike..
very easy access of of of freeway, plenty of parking, lots of great eating nearby and stay was very very good. we will return for future stays at this Super 8
Visiting area with friends to see the quilt gardens with an overnight stay. This was just what we needed. Able to get two rooms on ground floor as requested. Rates very reasonable. Rooms smallish but adequate. Rooms have been updated and comfortable. Breakfast had many choices including biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit and yogurt. Very good value!
Stayed only one night, comfortable and clean room. Breakfast wasn't such a thrill, I like my pattr
Ours was a late arrival on a rainy night, Thursday August 3. Check-in went smoothly, and because of the late hour we were given a room at the far end of the building on the second floor, stairs only. The front-desk clerk told us we could enter through the back door, but warned that the card key may or may not work. It worked for us and we found the interior of the building to be quite dark and fairly shabby. Our room was the same, painted a dark color and gloomy inside. The toilet seat lid was broken and in the morning we found that our wall-unit hair dryer was, also. We called the front-desk and they said most of the wall-unit hair dryers were broken, and to come to the front for a portable hair dryer and to just leave it in the room, which we did. There was a build-up of grime on the wall in the bathroom with drip marks through the grime--just old, uncleaned wall surface. The only toiletries provided were soap and shampoo, no conditioner or body lotion. The beds were fairly comfortable, I'm glad to say. The through-the-wall Air Conditioning unit only cooled on the lowest setting of 55 degrees, and then it was too cold. Walking to breakfast the next day the stairway banister was sticky/grimy and probably had not been cleaned in a while. The continental breakfast was simple, fresh, and plentiful, although only served until 9:00am. We had buns, yogurt, and fruit. This was our 6th Wyndham lodging (including another Super 8, Days Inn x2, Bayside Inn & Suites, and Wingate Gardens) during our 2-week travels and this one was really the only truly poor place. The overall run-down feel of the place reflects very badly on management and poorly represents the Wyndham chain.
