The property was unkempt. There was a lot of liter in the parking lot, circle drive, and foyer. The trash can at the doorway was overflowing. While checking in a dog urinated in the lobby. The rooms were clean but the carpet was dirty. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful.
An economic, clean and nicely decorated hotel that offers a convenient shuttle to the airport. An amazingly friendly staff made all the difference. This hotel is the beat quality inn i have ever experienced, hands down.
We found nails in the bed so cleaning is questionable. No one greeted us at the front door. Breakfast was good. Location is convenient

I would give our stay a 3, mainly because for 4 days the elevator did not work and no effort was made to fix the service to the elevator. Room was clean and comfortable but, stairs only, I would expect more in this day and age.

Quality Inn is a great hotel chain and this one in South bend is very well managed
Front desk clerk put wrong departure code on key card and had to go back multiple times for new key card. Indifferent at check in, like she had something else to do and actually made a face when looking at my ID. Probably won't be back.
Good place to stay will stay again if in the area, it was only overnight stay. Good area to stay in, break fest great with eggs, meat, juices, milk & fruit.
