We had room 403~beautiful with a lot of room! THE VIEW OUT THE DOUBLE WIMDOW WAS AMAZING! Took a dip In the pool-a perfect temperature and a nice cool down after s ho day!
The staff at Hotel Miramare was the best part about our stay. They were extremely nice, helpful, and accommodating. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel fell flat. The rooms were clean, but very basic for the price. There was a constant musty smell in the room and hallways, and the amenities were just ok. The location of the hotel is not ideal if you plan on visiting downtown Sorrento or the rest of Amalfi Coast. Although you can walk, it gets very tiring after a few days. There is a bus system, but you end up waiting just as long as it would take to walk. Also, the positioning of the entrance makes entering and exiting the hotel a suicide mission.
It was a clean, basic hotel. The staff was friendly, especially Angelo. It was extremely loud because our room was on the busy road and our bathroom overlooked the balconies of our neighbors; which was unappealing and kept us from sleeping. The location was good, away from downtown but a quick walk. Sorrento is amazing and I would stay here again with a different room location, away from the road and more privacy.
