This property was great, the staff is very nice and open to help whenever needed. We had a room balcony which had direct view to the market. Very close to do shopping, walkable to great dining options and close to taxi stops. I really recommend this property. It could get a bit noisy at night , but it did not bother me at all. Really recommend for great location and nice breakfast

The property itself is very nice, new and modern, however, the entrance to the building is not like a hotel with lobby, which might seem unexpected at first sight.. The location is amazing and although it’s in the busy area of the city, you won’t notice any outside noise or disturbances.

I was very happy with this find. I loved the location. I loved the suite. I loved the staff. Alessia was eager to arrange activities, secure guides, and make restaurant reservations in ways that transformed our visit to Sorrento. Elys serves a nice breakfast buffet (there is no dining room, so we ate in our room). And I should note that the hotel is at the edge of a pedestrian-only zone , so you cannot drive up to the building. But a taxi will drop you close or if you are driving, a parking garage (which you can arrange through Elys) is a slightly longer walk. In the heart of Sorrento's Piazza Tasso, Elys offers a central location, a comfortable stay, and an attractive value.

Fantastic location. Very clean and comfortable. The property doesn’t always have staff on site but those we saw were cheerful and helpful. Telephone numbers available for help at other times. Basic but tasty continental breakfast. Complimentary drinks available in fridge in room.

I absolutely loved staying here. We had a nice balcony view of the piazza and we enjoyed coffee in the mornings watching the view. It was also very close to the port which made it easier for us to travel to different coastal cities. There were also plenty of other shops nearby which made everything for us so convenient.

Loved this little place. The staff we very welcoming and helpful. The room was fantastic and so convenient as it was just off the main square on one of the little quaint streets. Right in the middle of all the restaurants and little cafes. We spent 3 nights over Christmas day and loved walking around the area.

We selected Elys largely based on traveller reviews. They are correct, this is a perfectly located, well run, clean, modern, safe and comfortable hotel. We chose a superior (corner) room which has 3 balconies overlooking the main square. Giusy is a fantastic host, providing all the information you need or want about everything from arrival, sites or restaurants and making you feel most welcome. A nice selection of pastries, fruit and other breakfast items are laid out each morning. You will need to walk less than 30 meters from where the taxi drops you to acces the hotel. Plan on having “WhatsApp” available as that is the preferred method of communication, with Giusy providing photos of how to locate the hotel once you arrive in town. It is just a few easy blocks from the train station and mostly smoother surfaces, with a couple short areas of the basalt tiles. (Giusy does provide detailed information on parking prior to arrival if that is required.) There is a lift specified for luggage only, and wide easy steps up to hotel level. We left reluctantly, quite enjoying our stay.
