My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Josie’s Lake House in January 2026. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that Josie had gone above and beyond to make our stay feel special and comfortable. The house was immaculately clean, and the thoughtful touches, including a welcome sign, wine and snacks, coffee pods, and cooking essentials like olive oil, herbs, and spices really stood out.Waking up in the lake-view bedroom and watching the sunrise over the water was an absolute highlight.We loved making the most of the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, then relaxing on the deck’s bean bag chairs while playing board games.Our evenings were spent cooking in Josie’s well-stocked kitchen and unwinding with Netflix on the huge TV.This was truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Thank you so much, Josie, for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Nothing short of amazing

Couldn't believe the place was even nicer than the pictures. Booked as a surprise for a babymoon and my wife loved every minute of it. All the little details the host puts into the place really make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. Couldn't have been better, great value.

Loved the area and the house was perfect

Lovely setup, a lot of equipment supplied and easy to use, general living supplies like, towels, blankets, bathroom necessities, kitchen appliances all at your disposal couldn’t have ask for a more organised and fun stay at a holiday house perfect for that getaway spot to forget about the world and enjoy the little things.

Beautiful and cosy lake house

Very happy with the overall stay and experience. The lake house was very clean, well stocked and the views were stunning. The owner was very friendly and helpful with all questions. Would happily stay again!

Nice place, great position

This place is in a great spot. The house itself is big and well appointed, kitchen is well stocked appliance wise. Beds are comfy. Shower is sad with touchy temps and low pressure. Would still recommend other than the shower.

Waterfront heaven

Josie’s place is beautiful. So comfortable and clean and we felt right at home instantly. The sunsets were amazing. We took the SUP boards out one morning, easy walk down to the waters edge. If staying in this area, I suggest you plan your meals in advance. Josie’s kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots and pans etc to make meals at home. During the peek of the holidays, it’s hard to book in anywhere for a meal or the waiting time for a seat can be long. We loved The Lake House. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully stay a bit longer on our next visit to the area.
