Shrouded by a lush littoral forest and neatly separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favorite for those eager to enjoy a spot of water-skiing, boating, paddling or windsurfing (the open lake waters making for a windsurfers dream!). With an impressive catchment area spanning 32 square kilometers and waterways of 11 square kilometers you can enjoy all the benefits of this unique, tucked-away calm waterway. There are no ceiling fans or aircon in bedrooms which made it difficult to sleep in summer heat. Cooker and oven are slow to heat. Frypans provided are sketchy and difficult to cook with with most food sticking to the pan, and the utensils look like they were 10 cents each from a camping shop. Which is a shame because the atmosphere and rooms and decor are nice and very comfortable, but these aspects just let down the stay.
