Relaxing

Great little relaxing place. Off the beaten path that house about 20 places just like the one we stayed in. Quiet area, Beach was 50 ft away down some stairs, Jacuzzi on demand, close to the redwood forests. Great getaway.

Honeymoon Suite; Ah Hell NO!

Overall, the place is cute. The whimsical ocean theme is nice. But we felt like we were staying with grandma for the weekend. As we walked up to the door the steps and entrance way was covered in sand. Opening the door the floor didn't looked mopped and there were stains on the furniture, The counters were covered in something sticky. While preceding to look at the hot tub. Something we were excited for; disgusting. Cloudy and a tub ring of human dead cells and whatever wrapped around the tub; has it ever been cleaned. The kitchen garbage can looked like it had vomit at the bottom where the extra bags were stored. We called to have the tub services and were told that Edgar would be right over. He never came. My husband waited all evening missing out on family dinner. I proceeded to call first thing the next morning only to be informed that Edgar said he had already been there. UNTRUE. They sent over the nicest housekeeper I wish I could remember her name.) that can attest to the grime around the hot tub. She was amazing and apologized all over herself. Very disappointed in our stay with my mother-in-law who I always try to impress. No thanks to this situation I did not gain any kudos this time around. However, my son and his wife rented Space 18 and we had rented space 19 a month ago and both were very well taken care of. We are now living in Brookings and we wish to use this location for multiple other family get togethers, at this rate I'm scared to spend our money here.

Nice Little Cabin by the Ocean

Our family of three -- wife, son, me -- plus our dog stayed a night here on a trip down the pacific coast. Great little place a short walk from an easily-accessed beach that was never crowded and great for dog-walking. Hot tub was a nice addition. Main bedroom was comfortable and the upstairs bedroom was nice for our son.Food can be found about 5-10 minutes in either direction, possibly closer. There's a nice town about ten minutes north, into Oregon, that has a fine selection of restaurants for take-out. Cabin also has everything you'd need to cook there if you wanted to.

Beautiful resort and cabin!

Couldn't have asked for a better place! Cabin was very cute and cozy. The jacuzzi was nice and the private beach was the best! My family had a great time and we hope to be back in the future.

Relaxing Mini Vacation

Absolutely loved our stay here! The ambiance was charming, the cleanliness top-notch, and the atmosphere incredibly soothing. Being just a stone's throw away from the beach was a dream, especially with the added bonus of having it nearly all to ourselves. Plus, their thoughtful provision of a hose outside made cleaning up our two furry friends a breeze after their sandy romps. Overall, an enchanting experience that left us feeling rejuvenated and thoroughly content.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway!

We booked this cabin for our anniversary and it was exactly what we were looking for. Private sandy beach, private hot tub, beautiful location. The cabin had everything we needed and would love to come back again!

Nice little getaway

Nice little area with a beautiful beach. We cooked our meals in the little kitchen provided, enjoyed a few dips in the hot tub, and took some walks on the beach. Not a big place to hang out play with a family, but it was a cozy spot for the 2 of us to stay. Or for a family spending most of their time outdoors.

Great stay despite fire difficulties

We’ve been staying at these locations for years though not through VRBO. Great access to the beach, close to hiking, close enough to Brookings or Crescent City. As advertised. Great for a couple or a small family. There was an electricity problem on this trip (power company had to turn off power to basically all of Del Norte County due to wildfires) and while a weekend without electricity was interesting to say the least, the hosts communicated with us and handled the difficulties quite well! We will be coming back!

Awesome stay!

We loved this cabin! It was very comfortable for our family of 5 and our dog. The beach was amazing for walks and rock hunting and looking for sea life! Management was very responsive during our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Great stay on beautiful oceanfront

Had a wonderful time. Nice surprise was the 2nd little living room space in the master bedroom, which wasn't shown in the pics online. Was clean and well cared for. Great communication from owner. Great private beach that you've got pretty much to yourself and a few others. Easy travel to Brookings and Crescent City. Samuel Boardman scenic corridor has the most Beautiful Beach (Secret Beach) on entire Oregon Coast (and that's saying a lot). I could drive between Harris Beach and Port Orford once a day for the rest of my life. Thx for the great stay.

Amazing stay!

Cute cabin

This cabin was clean, and well equipped. It was right across from beach access making it super convenient with small kids! Two living room set up was unexpected but nice with teens! Overall it was a great stay!
