Wonderful villa, and incredible hospitality from Mania who made sure we had everything we needed, and was so generous with offering her home cooking - making us really welcome after a long journey. House is like sharing someone's home, clean and well equipped. Only 5 minutes drive from Sitia, easy access to the sites of the region but a haven of peace which was just what we needed

14 wonderful days

My wife and I spent 14 wonderful days in this stunningly beautiful house. The previous reviews have mentioned already everything: the privacy of the place, though not too fare away from shopping, restaurants and beaches. Grand Olive House is ideal to explore the beautiful landscape and the interesting sites of ancient times in eastern Crete. Although from our side to many excursions are not recommended because that would result in too much absence time from this gem of a house, offering so much quality time. We felt very comfortable there and Manias hospitability with her “welcome cooking” and a basket full of goodies (mostly delicious selfmade) saved us from searching for a Supermarket on our Sunday arrival. Thank you very much for your warm welcome and for sharing this beautiful place. It will be definitely not the last time we will spend a luxurious and relaxing vacation there.

La villa est juste magnifique, très propre, fonctionnelle, décoré avec le gout. Un GRAND merci a Mania pour accueil et aide précieuse pour trouver des legumes de la ferme, la vrai feta et super huile d'olive, ses conseils pour les restaurants et les visites a faire.

Traumvilla mit atemberaubendem Ausblick

Es hat uns hier an nichts gefehlt. Mania ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und hat uns köstlich bewirtet. Die Villa ist voller künstlerischer Details, von denen man täglich neue entdecken kann. Diese Detailliebe setzt sich im paradiesischen Garten fort. Auch wenn die Lage Einsamkeit vermuten lässt, ist man nur 10 Minuten von Sitia entfernt. Herzlichen Dank an Mania und Barbara, wir waren hier total glücklich und kommen gern wieder.

Ein Glücksgriff

Ruhig und abgelegen in Mitten von Olivenhainen liegt dieses wunderbare Haus. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist man in 10 Minuten in Sitia direkt an der Promenade. Das selbst ist großzügig und mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Küchenausstattung liegt deutlich über dem Standard und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Außenbeleuchtung übertrifft jede Erwartung. Die zwei Pools liegen von früh morgens bis Abends durchgehend in der Sonne und sind angenehm temperiert. Auch die Betreuung durch Barbara und Mania war sensationell und vermittelten einen tollen Eindruck der griechischen Gastreundschaft. Restaurant- und Einkaufsempfehlzngen erleichtern die Orientierung und Manias selbstgemachte Begrüssungsmusaka war eine köstliche Überraschung. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!! Vielen Dank für eine tolle und erholsame Auszeit.

Magnifique maison

Nous avons passé une semaine exceptionnelle dans une maison somptueuse. Très confortable et luxueusement équipée avec une vue à couper le souffle, c'est une maison de rêve. Maria et Dimitrios sont aux petits soins et très généreux, quel plaisir lors de notre arrivée, après des heures de voyage, de trouver une moussaka dans le four, une salade grecque dans le réfrigérateur, des boissons fraîches, des fruits, des confitures, de l'huile d'olive maison et j'en passe. Le jardin est d'une rare beauté et arrosé quotidiennement, un véritable écrin de verdure dans une région pourtant arride. Pas de vis à vis, à part le chant des cigales c'est le calme absolu. Nous sommes reparti avec des souvenirs merveilleux et en prime avec la recette de la moussaka.
