Facility has everything we needed and it all worked! Quite reasonably priced, clean, with friendly and helpful staff. We would stay here again. There was no hook in the bathroom for robes or used towels you might want to reuse, but that was a very minor issue.
Overall acceptable. Decent breakfast. Clean smell throughout. Pool is small and hall noise noticeable. Beds very soft (I prefer firmer though). One bed skirt between box spring and mattress not clean so a bit disturbingly that it's not cleaned much apparently. Nice shower and linen. Staff very polite. 24 hour tea and coffee. Got a great Hotwire price making it much better!
The good: Nice and helpful staff, room seemd very clean, comfortable beds, really helpful breakfast staff...(average breakfast) The bad: Common areas.....stairwells, hallways, entries, etc. were filthy, as if they had not been vacuumed in days, bathroom very very small.
The woman who works the continental breakfast is very welcoming. Overall a good stay. The rooms were clean but the pool area needed to be tidied up. There were towels just thrown on the ground. Reasonable prices.
We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room was considering it was very close to the highway. Beds are very comfortable and there were many pillows from which to select one that met our needs. Bathroom was small, but it did not seem to be an issue. Lots of breakfast choices including fruit and yogurt which I enjoyed. Staff recommended a close restaurant which was also good. We were close to the interstate which we found very helpful.
Breakfast so so. Bathroom door interfered with using toilet. Room chair arm was ripped. Two places on bathroom wall were ripped up. The bathtub faucet rotated both ways and was difficult to position correctly to turn off.
When we first checked in over Memorial weekend we were greeted warmly and promptly given keys to our first floor room after it had been verified that that was the room number listed in the form I was signing. We settled in and decided to head down to the pool area. The door to the pool does not use key cards like most places and we couldn't get the door to open. We started searching for another door while another lady tried to open the one we had just tried. There was no other door so I came back and tugged some more and we finally got it open. Must have been stuck from moisture or something. Pool was full of kids so we opted for the hot tub. The other lady tried to turn on the Jets to no avail. Disappointing after a long drive. We had a long drive ahead of us the next day so turned in early. At 12:30 am our room phone rang. It took us awhile to process so we missed answering the call. Shortly after there was a click of a key and someone tried to open the door to our room. Luckily we used the deadbolt so they couldn't get in. I sent my husband down to check on why these things were happening and all he was told was that we were given the wrong room at check in and that since we hadn't answered the phone call they figured we weren't there and they could send someone to that room. I'm sorry but if you knew someone had checked into that room, even if it was the wrong room, why would you think we'd left? Also would you really have made us switch I'm the middle of the night? When my husband returned I had to let him in as our keys no longer worked. In the morning the bill and two new keys were shoved under the door with a note reading "sorry for the inconvenience". I tried to complain when I turned in my keys but the guy working was the same as the one my husband had talked to and when I said what room we were checking out from he grabbed the keys and took off for the back room. I really felt we should have at least been given a discount or something for all the hassle we'd had. We will never return to this hotel.
Nice hotel friendly staff room. Comfortable bed. Room had a strange smell, wasn't quite sure what it was but not enough to go somewhere else. No elevator. Breakfast was average, normal hotel eggs, sausage waffles. Small commons, would have been nice if hey would have opened a meeting room to accommodate. We had to wait for a table. They did run out of rolls, muffins, bread. Price was too much for this place as well This is why I gave it a poor rating. Other than that it was average
We stayed in a suite, which was large and comfortable with a sofa. There is NO elevator, and no room was available on the first floor. The TV didn't work at first, but staff was up in seconds after our call to fix it. The hotel is in quite a noisy location, but the room was surprisingly quiet. Standard Choice breakfast; very friendly, helpful staff.
We stayed in a normal room which had everything we needed for a one night stopover. Pool and hot tub smallish but kids enjoyed for a little bit. Hotel was overbooked the night we were there so everything was busy. Breakfast the next morning was adequate, nothing fancy, but something to eat including fruit (fresh grapefruit which was the first time I have seen that at a hotel/motel). We would stay again in the area as it was close to a lot of restaurants and we even walked across the street to a bar/casino which was convenient.
