The condo was gorgeous and the salt water pool was great (just needs cleaning). Kitchen area is really nice. What you need to know: They give you limited electricity here and charge you for every bit you go over. This isn’t disclosed until you get to the hotel for check-in and they have already taken your money. It’s not easy to find the check-in office. Make sure to download WhatsApp as that’s their main form of communication with you. There was gym-like fitness center (only a pay for yoga like services place that cost extra). The food options were not good. We liked the pizza stand and ice cream stand. As far as meals the food quality wasn’t good. The staff at the food places aren’t attentive and you have to go out of your way to get their attention to sit, get menus, and order. there were problems in the condo - WiFi was broken for 4 days and the staff kept trying to tell me it was working. Was day 5 into a 7 day stay before they would get someone out to fix it. The curtain blinds are necessary to sleep as your bed is right beside windows where people walk to the condo. The curtain blind was broken and only fixed a day before we left. The sink was stopped up before our arrival (which they asked if we broke). The safe never worked. The worst part is they walk the place before/after every tenant to make sure things aren’t broken and in need of repair. However they never identify these things. Then when we reported it they would ask if we broke these things.

Excellent property to relax and enjoy the view. The property is very safe, walkabout, close to the beach and restaurants. Beds are very comfortable. The apartment cleaning was fair, however could be better. We stayed for a week and the cleaning staff came two days after we arrived and changed the towels, but that was the only time, we expected at least to have them to clean the apartment in the middle of the week, however that didn't happen. Overall we enjoyed the property, the pool and especially the view from our apartment including the quiet and peaceful environment.

Simplesmente Sensacional. O apartamento é super bem equipado, com decoração de extremo bom gosto e muito funcional. A vista para o mar é um capítulo a parte. É Incrível !!!. A propriedade fica dentro de um condomínio com várias casas e resorts e em uma região central da ilha, o que facilita o deslocamento tanto para o sul com para o norte. Tem até campo de golfe ( não utilizamos então não sei como seria para faze-lo) O Staff do empreendimento é muito atencioso e super solicito.

This is the best property we could have ever booked for our very first time in Curaçao. If you are looking for a very touristy area, Blue Bay Resort is not for you. However, if you are looking for a relaxing experience, family friendly and just a short drive to the best beaches you will ever see, this is the place to be. You have 2 supermarkets just 3-5 mins away (driving). The private beach was so beautiful. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. The balcony had spectacular views of the ocean, the golf course and the pool. Be mindful of the energy consumption because there is a limit before you get charged extra. Tip: make sure lights and AC are turned off when you leave the apt during the day. We are already planning our next trip to CUR and we will stay at the Blue Bay Resort.

Everything was wonderful about this property. The only suggestion I have because other guests have had issues like us (BEWARE) When they send the memo out to let us know that we have to check in at the airport and get the keys at the airport because there is no office at the apartments, Memo comes from “Coral & Coco”, NOT ANYWHERE DOES IT MENTION “BLUE BAY”). This is just not communicating properly with guests and since they don’t have an office at the apartments, they should make sure guests know that Coral & Coco is related to Blue Bay Resorts.

We loved our accommodations and the cleaning staff. There was always a lounge available at the pool at anytime during the day. The beach is a short distance by car and a 10-15 minute walk and the Centrum grocery store is about 5 minutes by car and has a good supply of any needs. A great place to stay.

Understand what you are booking

This is a super clean, ultra modern , well appointed apartment with stunning views and a lovely pool. It is not a full service hotel. You will need a car. It is 2 miles to the nearest supermarket. The beach and nearest restaurants are 1/2 to 3/4 miles away with some steep hills. We recommend using Coral&Coco to arrange car rental and tours in advance.

My review is for a ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. We arrived and easily found the check in area at the airport - no problem except that they gave us absolutely no information about where the unit was actually located. They suggested we use our gps which we did and found the main gate, but we were unable to locate section T as there was no signs indicating it’s location. After asking several people we found out it was behind another building, down a dirt road - even then we thought it just couldn’t be there but we finally found it. Also, we asked at the airport if we would pass a supermarket - they said we would, but of course we didn’t! Btw - no map was available of the road from the airport or the blue bay area. Now to the unit - white, white, white - nothing but white - no picture on the wall - nothing. Master bathroom has NO DOOR! Is this a joke?? No towel bars, no hooks, no full length mirror. The bedrooms are TINY - queen beds with no dressers - only built in closets. Master bed mattress was so soft - it needs to be changed. Nothing charming about them at all. Btw - you need adapters - none were provided - we had to go buy them. Kitchen was fine - white everything. Outside area very nice but couldn’t use it due to the flies and mosquitoes _. We purchased mosquito coils and citronella. Pool area nice - lounges but no tables provided. Blue bay beach was really nice - white sand, nice restaurants and bars.

Loved the location and apartment, however, a few things are desired for the apartment, such as a curtain to cover the large glass doors so everyone can’t see in at all hours. They didn’t come to clean at all, just brought us clean towels. Also, if you are a light sleeper, the clinging of the sun shades outside may wake you frequently. Nonetheless, I would stay at The Reef again. The pool was beautiful and the area was nice and quiet. The apartment was nicely decorated in a cheek, modern design.

The Reef was beautiful and I was always able to have my questions answered easily. We loved Blue Bay beach for how quiet and laid back it was. Highly recommend the nachos at Blend Beach Bar.
