The house is absolutely stunning. With lots of space, an amazing swim pool, bbq, large rooms etc. The only thing is that there isn’t a n air con and fans weren’t provided as per request. Also it’s like 15min driving from Albufeira town, but this wasn’t a downside. Thanks Elodie for letting us check in earlier and we would recommend to anyone.!

We had a great stay at the villa Monte Branco, a beautyful house and lovely garden. The only minus was we did not get access to the washingmachine until day 4 and with 5 children that was a problem.

Let me start with the positives first: the check-in went smooth, the house is clean and nicely furnished, the outdoor pool and the area was really nice.Now for the negatives: Our biggest issue was that the house did not have any air conditioning (my fault that did not read thru prior reviews that mention that as well). We so happen to be staying there during a 40C temperatures and as you can imagine the sleeping part in a sauna did not go well. It was miserable and for that reason alone I would not rent this house again. To make things even worse since the house does not have AC, there were no ceiling fans in any room... which means zero airflow. Also, the host mentions a washing machine on site. Well there is one but it doesn't work (it trips the breaker every time it gets turned on). On the first day I notified the host and she said she will get the maintenance guy there which never showed up within our 5 days stay even though I asked for updates. Poor guest treatment.

I want to give a big plus for the way Elodi communicated with me during our stay. Every question was quickly answered and helpful. The check-in procedure was send on time and worked smoothly.After entering the house, my expectations were confirmed. It isn't the newest house, but perfect for our group of friends. It was tidy, with a bit of dust in the corners. Nothing to worry about. Beds were nicely made up, clean bathrooms and kitchen and the outside patio/barbecue ready for use.Some of the chairs were broken, but there were enough of them for us to sit. After mentioning the broken chairs, Elodi offered to replace them and told me where some spare chairs were stored. And things do break every once in a while. We broke a glass as well. Elodi made no issue of this. It can happen indeed.The only thing that we actually didn't like, was the fact that the dishwasher didn't work properly. But with a group of 11 healthy people, we let our hands do the job. No real problem, but I hope it is fixed for the next group.Overall, we really enjoyed the place. It is a quiet but nice place, therefor we were able to make a bit more noise. The swimming pool was excellent and the Jacuzzi really enjoyable. For groceries you need a car. If you want to go out to Albufeira, Faro or any other town nearby, Elodi knows a good Taxi company and Uber works perfectly for your way home.The house has everything we needed to have a fun and chill reunion-weekend with friends.

Weinig souplesse om wat eerder het huis in te kunnen dan 17.30 uur, wat jammer is
..want na lange vluchten, (Canada/New-Zealand)wil je met je bagage s’middags het huis in kunnen! Communicatie met eigenaar slecht, spreekt enkel Portugees! Tegels buiten liggen los op terras, waardoor je, je tenen lelijk kunt ophalen! Plastiek ligstoelen (geen kussens)
..kook-pannen die in keuken binnen liggen, zijn op gas gebruikt waardoor het gebruik binnen op elektrische kookplaat onmogelijk is! Gasfles buiten was leeg, werd vervangen na telefonisch contact, maar deed het hierna nog steeds niet? Onze algemene indruk van dit huis, niet comfortabel en jammer genoeg ook niet schoon! Afwasmachine niet kunnen gebruiken, filter in machine zelf bij aankomst schoon moeten maken, hierna deed de afwasmachine het nog niet! Na opnieuw contact met eigenaar, om te overleggen, wat te doen
..was het antwoord;) u kunt het huis ook eerder verlaten als het u niet bevalt! Klantvriendelijk/NeePrijs woning/ locatie is mooi, huis op foto prachtig, werkelijkheid valt enorm tegen! Het vakantiehuis is niet te vergelijken met vakantiehuizen die wij eerder hebben gehuurd in Portugal, qua comfort!

Außen Hui Innen Pfui

Begonnen hat unser Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus 1.5h spĂ€ter, wobei mir diese Information ca. 30 Minuten vor eigentlichem Mietbeginn mitgeteilt wurde. Bei der Ankunft am Haus ist uns dann direkt aufgefallen, dass die Anzahl der Betten nicht mit der angegebenen Zahl auf der Website ĂŒbereinstimmt. Nach einigen Nachrichten mit der Vermieterin kam dann zu Tage, dass man wohl vorher extra angeben muss wie viele Betten man braucht - diese Information fehlt leider auf der Website. Genauso haben 4x HandtĂŒcher gefehlt. Es wurde dann nach 2 Tagen ein extra Zustellbett und HandtĂŒcher organisiert. Die Waschmaschine war die gesamten 2 Wochen kaputt. Wenn sie angeschaltet wurde ist immer die Sicherung rausgeflogen. Die Vermieterin wurde direkt darĂŒber in Kenntnis gesetzt und hat nach einigen Tagen geantwortet, dass der Techniker informiert wurde. Der kam aber nie. Die gesamten 2 Wochen wĂ€ren somit ohne Waschmaschine. Am nĂ€chsten Tag haben wir dann noch bemerkt, dass es in fast allen RĂ€umen leichte AnsĂ€tze von Schimmelbildung gibt. ZusĂ€tzliche Punkte: - Heizung funktioniert nicht, stattdessen stĂ€rker Gas Geruch - WLan ist extrem langsam und fiel zeitweise aus, da die Rechnung von der Vermieterin nicht bezahlt wurde - Lampe mit offenen Kabeln und offene Rohre im kleinen Bad - Ausstattung der KĂŒche grĂ¶ĂŸtenteils kaputt - SpĂŒlmaschine spĂŒlt nicht bzw nur die HĂ€lfte wird sauber + stĂ€rker Gestank - kein MĂŒlleimer - Mehrere StromausfĂ€lle erzeugt durch verschiedene elektrische GerĂ€te

Passei umas mini férias com uns amigos nesta vivenda maravilhosa. Bastante espaço e excelentes condiçÔes. No verão, com piscina, jacuzzi e imenso espaço aberto. Recomendo e se tiver oportunidade irei repetir.
