My boyfriend and I stayed at Inchcape Villas on one of their Cottages on October. At our arrival they show us around and we did love the place at first sight, stunning views and great location. We wanted to try to kite at the next day and Prudance called the local kite school deAction and helped us out to set up. The kindness of the team here is just outstanding!! Always very keen to help and care, asked for some places to go to eat and recommendations were great, places to visit and as well was great recommendations. The beach in front of the Villas it’s just beautiful and mainly private. I would recommend to everyone if they like kite or just have a nice holidays a bit off the touristy places and discover more of real Barbados. We felt like home there and will come back very soon to kite and continue exploring and eat Bajan food! Thank you for everything!
This is my visit at Inchcape. It was worth it. The place is clean. The rooms are big and spacious. I was able to walk down by the sea it was breath taking. I was very pleased. The service was great. They were helpful and met all my needs while I was there. The driver Mr. Rodney was pleasant and helpful. Will surely visit again. I recommend it all the way. I give you a 10.
My partner and I stayed at Inchcape for three weeks and loved every second of it! We immediately felt right at home thanks to Prudence and the rest of the wonderfully warm and welcoming staff. We stayed in the Upstairs House Sunset (which I highly recommend!) and were also able to view some of the other villas. All are absolutely amazing: spacious yet cozy, sparkling clean, and decorated individually with loving detail. The property is right on the beach and has a huge garden area with day beds and hammocks to enjoy the day in. The location is in a quiet neighborhood located within easy driving distance to the famous fish markets and several wonderful bars. Overall, this place is truly a hidden gem! We highly recommend staying at Inchcape and hope to visit again soon!!
I visited Inchcape for the second time this summer and it was just as amazing as the first time! Waking up to what has to be the best view I've ever experienced, reading on the hammock or on one of the recliners in the pretty garden, staying in a lovely apartment (spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and great ceiling fan), it doesn't get much better than this! I didn't use the kitchen much but it had everything you could need. And the staff were all so friendly and helpful, organizing a pick up from the airport and answering all our questions! I loved walking up to surfers beach bar in the evening for happy hour, or having breakfast in Oistins which is a short drive away. If you are after relaxation in a lovely setting I'd definitely recommend, and I'm sure I'll be back again!
Away from the tourist area, this gem of a boutique style complex is fabulous getaway from it all on the shores of the Silver Sands. Our apartment was well appointed, with housekeeping every 3 days, taxi service easily available to get you to town for supplies, dining or sightseeing. The staff were very friendly & welcoming, such a pleasure to meet. Look forward to stay here again on our next trip to Barbados!
Cannot wait to go back. We had the best time ever.... We stayed at the Inchcape Seaside Villas for 2 weeks and we all enjoyed our stay on the Caribbean island of Barbados very much. I can only say positive things about Inchcape. The villas are spectacular, the rooms, the whole property, the service, all is five stars or beyond. Silver Sands Beach is a hidden secret, simply fabulous !! I have stayed in many nice hotels around the world, but hardly ever at anything as unique and good in it’s own way as this!
Inchcape is a fantastic place to stay in Barbados, away from the main road in its own corner of tranquility with just the sound of the sea breaking on the shore. The grounds are all faultlessly maintained with plenty of areas to relax in either the sun or shade. The apartments were very comfortable and well appointed, the beds were great...even wi-fi was good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful...you do need a car here, and probably as well to let them organise it for you before you arrive, and the car will be there waiting for you. Can’t really think of anything to fault our stay here!!
Our recent stay at Inchcape in the Seaview Cottage was all and more than we hoped for. The gorgeous view, proximity to the sea, salt water smell and constant soothing sound of the waves provided a most peaceful, relaxing and inspiring environment. We were warmly greeted on arrival and appreciated the attention of the helpful staff, particularly Norma and the manager Prudence. The cottage was pristine and well-appointed. It was like a home away from home and gave us the opportunity to cook a few meals. Our private large veranda, complete with dining table and lounges was always washed with gentle breezes. The fan and louvered windows made the apartment very comfortable and no air conditioning was needed. Inchcape is definitely a hidden gem, with amazing landscaped grounds and "private" beach. We plan to return as soon as possible.
Have visited Inchcape for many years but was unable to go last year so happy to be back to what feels like a second home this year. The small individual complex is so so different to any hotel or apartment that we have stayed in before. When you drive in you are greeted by a little oasis with smiling happy staff who will try to satisfy all your needsThey really want you to have a wonderful stay . The apartments are all different and have all have personal charm.I suggest you hire a car ( which they will organise if you would like them to ) you are then free to explore the beautiful island of Barbados and lovely places to eat.Oistins is close by and is famous for the fish market and Friday nights with music and dancing . All the information is available in the properties and always cheerful Prudence on hand to help you in any way she cant . there are the most stunning sea views sight and sound of the Atlantic all around you and a lovely garden where you can relax and sun bathe in comfort. Because of the lovely waves the area is popular with kite surfers and fun to watch ( there are not motor spots ) You will relax totally and want like us to visit again and again ! If you want beauty peace and quiet I cannot recommend I cannot recommend Inchcape highly enough.
Embarking on a solo-soul cleansing vacation, I could not have chosen a better place to stay. It was all last minute, I knew I wanted to visit Barbados and spent one evening deciding on where to make my escape. Travelling alone, I just wanted to be safe, sit on a beach and relax, somewhere I could just unwind in peace. I am absolutely not a resort person - as resorts are usually littered with tourists, horrible food and anything but a special experience. Let me tell you - I made one of the best descisions I have ever made. I stayed in Seaside Cottage A - which was absolutely perfect - resembled a luxurious tree house. The upstairs loft with high ceilings and 360 degrees open shutters surrounded the most comfy bed and had access to my very own private deck with a lovely view of the grounds and the ocean. The gentle breeze and sounds of the waves made for some of the best night sleeps I have had in a while. I frequented the local grocery store and often cooked for myself, some nights I went to Oistins for some takeout. The staff at Inchscape was absolutely lovely - special shoutout to Prudence and Ginger who checked in with me everyday wanting to know how I was doing and for always ready to offer a helping hand. They are both very hardworkin' ladies and kept the property in very high standards; very clean and well kept. Oh and the Ocean....it is actually right there - the photos aren't altered at all. 2 days I had my very own private beach (not a soul was on it except me). A few days of the week the seaweed was really bad - but it's an island wide problem at the moment - Mother Nature c'est la vie it didn't stop me. I would most definitely visit again, and am currently looking to organize a family vaction in their lovely seaside cottage. Thanks to Inchscape Villas for providing the perfect setting for a wonderful escape.
