I was there in group. Our bus cant drop off in the lobby so we have to carried our luggage along the pathway. First came into the lobby, we were amaze that the lobby was so big. The room had enough spaces too. It was not so much choices for breakfast, maybe because i was in group. But at least everything was okay. I dont have any negative words to say.
Stayed for one night as part of Christmas "splendours of Italy" tour. This was the best hotel of the five that were chosen Cosmos/Archers. I was initially allocated a lovely room on the 2nd floor but found the bath taps could not be turned off in the bathroom. The reception were eventually quick to act when I explained several times that the water was draining away wasted. Maintenance were unable to mend the taps so i got moved to another room which turned out to be basic in comparison. The standard of furnishings in room 138 were disappointing, the equipment including the bathroom were tired and the linen stale. This is in sharp contrast to the initial room. The stay was for just 1 night and the reception staff were courteous but did seem to lack an understanding of the inconvenience caused. The breakfast hall had only one hot drinks machine which meant long queues to get a beverage in the morning but the choice on offer was ok including fresh croissants.
Apparently. The hotel administration decided to respond to a post I made back in July were I went off on how my family and I were treated terribly by the waiters in the restaurant and about how hot the rooms were. Hotel administrator! You said there is a thermostat in the room to allow me to control the temperature. True! However, my experience was so that even when I set the thermostat to the desired temperature, IT WAS STILL HOT! Secondly, you should be ashamed of yourself by telling me that the restaurant staff is nice and friendly. Clearly, customer service is not something you are acquainted with. In case you haven't heard or learned yet, the customer is always right! And by you taking the time to respond to my post and tell me that your employees are friendly, well it just further adds to how terrible your hotel is! Not even hotel management knows what customer service is!
I stayed here one night with a church tour group of 26. The location is away from Siena but it is quiet and peaceful. The food at the restaurant was nothing special. The rooms were adequate. There is nothing special about this place.
Stayed here as part of a tour. A business, executive type hotel. Very clean. Friendly service. A bit of a distance from the center of town and not within walking distance of sites. Very quiet and a good place for a stopover.
We were with a tour group and spent a quick night. We had dinner at a local restaurant, so we can't remark about the hotel restaurant We did have an early buffet breakfast at the hotel and it was okay. The room was very nice and comfortable and clean. The bathroom very nice and had supplies provided except for tissues. The hair dryer was low power. I brought my own pillow. The beds and pillows are firm in Italy. Couldn't figure out the AC control, so I opened the window and slept well.
The strutture isn't bad but breakfast is poor, the restaurant has pretensions but without substance. The dining room is poorly managed with unnecessary impositions (the second day, our group has been obliged to get the original positions at tables).
Stayed in this hotel for one night as part of a tour group of 24 people. The hotel is ok but location is not walkable to the town centre. The rooms were clean, wifi is spotty, the bed is a bit firm but we were too tired for it to matter. Just the basic toiletries available. The food is good but nothing fantastic. Overall service is ok.
This hotel has special rates for relatives of out of town hospital patients. I was shown to my room with a single bed and told not to sneak my husband into my room. The hotel is a short walk from the hospital (go up the hill), and slighter longer walk (down hill and veer left) to the COOP supermarket and the Sandy cafe, great for breakfast. There was internet available in the lounge only, and it was a challenge to get connected. I think the staff preferred clients who didn't have family in the ospedale. The room was clean, and the room service dinner generous, and the lovely young woman who delivered my meal made my day with her smile.
Receptionists and hotel management we not friendly. The Internet in our room did not work which is greatly need to communicate with employees and family at home in the states. TV did not work. Electrical outlet in the bathroom would not work. I travel with an extension cord and I had to run the cord from the desk into the bathroom. The pool was closed for renovations and they did not inform us. Horrible experience.
