Just what I needed

This hotel stay was just exactly what I needed at the price I could afford. Very good about just about everything,. lovely clean room,. great location,. quiet,.good vibes and most friendly and helpful staff. Airs of the past yet most well kept. I highly recommend ! You will not be desapointed in any way. Thanks Martin and lovely staff !

Forgotten at the airport, first bad sign. Owner very helpful. Good sign. The bathroom bit outdated, drainage too lazy. Reception-receptionist, not the best working relationship. Out of central town, quiet. Up to individual preferences. Thanks

Great Value in the Perfect Location

For the cost and location, this hotel can't be beat. It is just a short walk to the Royal Palace and the National Museum, as well as the river and tons of restaurants. The hotel is no frills, so don't expect a five star hotel, but it was comfortable and the owners were incredibly nice and helpful. You can also do a lot of your bookings for trips and transportation here. I would stay here again, but I'd get a room with air conditioning next time.

Staff here are great and English is well understood by staff. The owner is also fluent in German and Russian. Riel and US dollars are accepted Check in was very easy and if arriving by bus or air don't forget to contact them in advance as they do offer free pick-up. A deluxe Double room was fairly non-eventful and could be considered a little worn down. AC and ceiling fan keep the room cool at night and private bathroom. Ours had no separation between bathroom/toilet and shower so expect to get wet floors afterwards. This would be a put off to quite a few people so its fair to call it out though. Daily cleaned with fresh towels so you may considered this overall a small inconvenience. Tuk Tuks are very easy to come by and for a mere US$2 to the city markets and restaurants its hard to call anything out about location. They will assist in booking your site seeing to Angkor Wat by private Tuk Tuk and I recommend the half day with sunrise option. The site gets very busy with tourists early so expect large crowds and a hot day. **** "VIP" Minivan from Siem Reap to Bangkok booked through the hotel, US$56 for two people. Not the "hotels" fault but I would not recommend this trip unless you are a seasoned traveler. Be prepared to wait over an hour at the border crossing and there really is no benefit to pay the express fee everyone has to make it through for the minivan to leave. Cramped in a stuffy van with little air con. Pay the extra to fly you'll not regret it

Lovely old building,superb management and staff who were keen to help in any way they could inc visas,transport, tuk tuk available on site so hassle with that, tour for temples for 15 dollars,free transfer from airport,can't praise this place enough,free tea and coffee.

A ood stay

The hotel is good for the price and located in a good area; tuk tuk drive is about 3-4 minutes into the heart of the town,or you can walk there. (takes about 10-15 minutes). The walk is completely safe and never had any issues. The owner is very involved and will provide you with any and every detail you may need about your stay.

Accueil et conseil sympathiques et efficaces

Accueil très sympathique, et très bon conseils sur la visites des sites d'Angkor et de Siem Reap. Ils proposent des services de tuk-tuk pour les visites à prix fixes, clairs et sans surprise! L’hôtel est bien situé dans une zone calme de Siem Reap. Par contre les équipements de l’hôtel sont vieillissants : clim sous-puissantes et difficiles à réglée, chauffes-eau pas toujours efficaces, matelas usés.

Quando c è un funerale non si dorme

L hotel è adeguato al prezzo e come è normale da queste parti la doccia è in mezzo al bagno e non si può oscurare la camera. alla lontananza dal centro si può ovviare con bici e tuk Tuk. ma se vi capita un funerale nell adiacente luogo apposito vi svegliano alle 5am x una settimana!

Charmantes Guesthouse mit tollem Personal!

Das Guesthouse wird von einem Shotten geführt, der aus seiner Unterkunft ein wahres Paradies geschaffen hat, mit einem schönen Innenhof, charmanter Eingangshalle und gut ausgestatteten Zimmern. Wir konnten günstig Rädern ausleihen, um zum Angkor Tempel zu fahren. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. In dem Innenhof kann man toll frühstücken. Das Guesthouse ist definitiv empfehlenswert!
