Exceptional. Our stays at this hotel were more than we could ever ask for. we did not expect such a luxurious environment. Never at any other hotel have I experienced such wonderful service and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, the food is magnificent, and the pool is great. Loved our stay and will definitely return.
You are about 10 minutes away from the airport and about 10 minutes from the night market. It was a quiet hotel with really good service most workers were greeting me with english good morning or hello. The hotel has a nice pool area and bar area. The breakfast was included with my room but I only ate once during my stay. The food was above average. The hotel is old teak wood from the 60's. It felt like someplace I would stay covering the war. Pretty nice rooms and quiet. I enjoyed my stay.
My request was met with a friendly smile...a view of the pool from a high floor. Staff were so helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Air con helped make the stay restful. My stay was a friend's treat for me...it was a treat. Thank you to the staff. The hotel is easy walking or travelling distance into the centre of town. Tuk tuk into the centre would cost $2. Lovely seating areas to enjoy time with friends. Pool looked nice, but never had time to get in...next time!
Wow, probably one of the 2 highlight hotels on the trip. Very nice hotel, great lobby with occasional live music, nice bars, great food, large clean room, air con was excellent! What more to say. Short tuk-tuk ride to town for 3$ USD (or you could walk it). Staff was very friendly. As another reviewer stated, this hotel has received a Certificate of Excellence and it's easy to see why. Nice to come "home" to each evening after touring the temples and Pub Street is definitely interesting! Would make this my first stop when you visit Siem Reap!
We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of May and although not quite 5 stars this is a very solid 4 star plus. The staff were kind and helpful without being intrusive. The air conditioning worked very well which was nice for us as it is definitely the hot season. We were directed by the staff to the local corner store in order to find water there rather than using the more expensive mini bar. The service was not aiming to take all our money but truly to help us have the best experience possible. They Aldi helped us get prime seats at the Phare circus. Only modest area for improvement was our dinner at the restaurant. But recommend nonetheless.
I spent 3 nights here and thought the property was quite good. The check in was easy and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. It was not a deluxe type property, but was perfect as a place to come back to and rest after spending all day at the temples. The breakfast was good and plentiful, with many choices. It was a quick ride to the main part of Siem Riep with the restaurants and other attractions.
What more could you want? Angkor Paradise earned the Certificate of Excellence. By classic, I mean the lobby is spacious, has an exquisite lobby and dining room, both elegantly furnished. Registration staff are friendly and most helpful. As part of a tour group but travelling solo, a double room on the second floor had been assigned. I needed only one bed, and found it comfortable and clean. A fruit platter was brought to the room shortly after I arrived, and two bottles of water are supplied each day. (Beware: The bottled carbonated water in the fridge comes with a cost, as does the other beverages.) There’s a balcony overlooking the pool. The bathroom has modern fixtures and tiled floor to ceiling. A sumptuous breakfast with omelet station is available (included in the tour group booking). The first night, children running in the halls near midnight woke me. Late January and early February saw the Lunar New Year, and many visitors from China were near the room I occupied. I phoned staff and immediately someone came to the area and cautioned the screaming Munchkins about making noise. It was too late to relocate to another room, but the following day the hotel manager assigned a suite on another floor. Upon occupying that room, more fresh fruit arrived. All hotel staff exceeded expectations for my first visit to Cambodia. Angkor Paradise Hotel provides service that used to be common. The only “concern” is that it’s a couple of miles from town center, but only about US$3 for four people in a tuk-tuk, and a five-minute ride. I have a recommendation. Decades of French colonial occupation and then communist domination prevented personal investing. A laundry service nearby charges only US$1 to launder a kilo of clothes. I gave $3, feeling guilty by taking advantage of the desperately low price. Too, I gave housekeeping staff $5 each of the three days I stayed in the hotel. The extra money made no difference to my travel budget, but I imagine it made a difference to those who provided superior service. In Cambodia, a little goes a long way☺
Nice hotel. Comfortable ans spacious room.Excellent breakfast buffet with local and western food.It has sauna, gym, swimming pool. Wi fi service. Kind & helpful staff. Excellent for families, couples or solo stay. Highly recommended.
We intended on staying for 3 nights, however ended up staying for 8 nights. The service, location, breakfast, room & facilities are all excellent. All the staff we're friendly & helpfull, particulaly Mai at the reception. Highly recommend !!
Was booked through a travel agent. I checked it out on google and thought that it looked like a gorgeous hotel. The photos don't do it justice at all. The best thing about this hotel despite the great location in the middle of Siem Reap, the spacious and comfortable rooms and the great pool/ bar is the people. Every person I met at this hotel was friendly and helpful. I was surprised at how well they spoke English and they genuinely wanted to make sure I had a good time. I am sorry to be leaving Siem Reap and this hotel, anyone thinking of coming to this amazing city should just do it. Thank you to my travel agent who recommended it!!
