The only downside to this hotel was that it was a little far away from the night market and ask the best restaurants. The day we did Angkor Wat they packed us a breakfast since we were leaving at 4:30am before their breakfast was up and running. They open the door for you. They call a tuk tuk quickly. One of the doormen recommended is to a great restaurant which was a great recommendation. Everybody send to know great English. I guess the was one other tough part. The power would go out occasionally, which would effect WiFi. Overall a great stay, currently offered on trip advisor for about $39/night when I paid nearly $60 is a bit frustrating. I guess I need to get more savvy...
Every time we come to Siem Reap my family and I always stay at Angkor Era Hotel. We extrememy live this place!!! We have lovely view. Love the hotel restaurant. Food is wonderful!!! My wife and I always take advantageof their Spa and Gym. We have the masseuse come to our room to have our massage done. Love their smiles and friendly attitudes. People working in the hotel are extremely nice. This is our family trip to Cambodia summrr 2017. My kids love the pool!!! The hotel is extrememy clean and we'll kept. Never had any problem.
The staff will make you feel special. The buffet breakfast is very good and has an egg and waffle station made fresh. Hotel pool is the best. Big rooms. Bed and pillows are a little hard for my taste but overall I love this place.
Featuring traditional Khmer architecture, Angkor Era offers spacious rooms with private balconies. There are several dining options with room service, a spa and an outdoor pool. Guests enjoy free WiFi throughout the property.
I have been there for pool and massage! It was early in the morning so whole pool was just mine and it's fantastic...super clean, huge and have beautiful atmosphere. Then i had a massage but i was prepared for ok massage and lowered my expectation(i am very picky about massage and food) but this was one of the best ever massage! i felt like all stress left mo body!!!Amazing!!!
The hotel located little far from the town, but they offered free pick up from the airport. I booked the hotel's room through the internet, me and friend was arrival at Siem Reap International Airport at 9.55am, they provided early check in; Room are wonderful cover by the wooden of ceiling and floor with the 120 cm side of each beds, breakfast is multiple choice; those included of noodle, cakes, fruits, and many kinds of the main courses, swimming pool is large, they offer free access for fitness center and spa, staff so helpful they approach to help you in the minutes after we ask for something. I would like to recommend for any guests who looking for quiet and nice place to stay in Siem Reap.
It took almost 30 minutes from airport to this hotel because it is located in the opposite side. This hotel is huge and luxury in its own way. Front desk staff were attentive and knowledgeable in arranging our tour itinerary. It's a good stay!
It is a lovely hotel with truly great staff - genuinely friendly, helpful, kind and nothing is too much trouble. As I am travelling around for a few months, this was a treat to myself to stay in luxury for a short time. One of the managers was amazing in sorting out internet for me as it was sketchy in my room - sorted straight immediately. Breakfast is plentiful, tasty, great assortment. My room was great, the facilities are great, the prices for everything inside the hotel exorbitant - hence my 4 and not 5* rating. As I say, this is not a criticism really of the hotel - it is a high quality hotel and so prices will be higher. But given how incredibly cheap food and massages are here in general, I do think that they could do a little better than they currently offer. Of course you can go outside and find all you want cheaper, but not always possible when you arrive late or come back after a day out and want to shower, rest and get a drink or snack. Overall, I would recommend the hotel and a huge thank you to the lovely staffs. If you are looking for somewhere that is peaceful, extremely clean, friendly, away from the hustle and bustle and high quality, then choose here. Just be prepared to pay the prices that all of these things come with.
I have never written a review for here before, but I thought that this was necessary. The staff at this hotel really couldn't have done any more for me. I had an early flight which landed at 8am. They picked me up from the airport and allowed me to check in at that time, free of charge. The staff were so lovely and polite, they were very attentive and truly made my short stay in Siem Reap a lovely ever. I would recommend the hotel for any guest really. I was there on my own but I could see it as fitting for couples, family and friends.
I don't understand the good reviews for this hotel, when there are so many others in Siem Reap that do better. The wifi is terrible - slow and regularly disconnected. The rooms are vast for sure, but apart from the bed (if you like them rock hard), none of the furniture is comfortable. There is not one comfy place to sit in the entire hotel, just giant wooden furniture everywhere. Full of loud tour groups. Actually, the only justification for this hotel's existence would be to accommodate tour groups and bus them straight to the temples without every interacting with the town. If you are organising your own trip, DO NOT stay here. Choose one of the boutique hotels, for $40 to $60 you can have a MUCH nicer experience. One positive: the food was good and the staff were nice.
