We had a group of 8 males stay at the property for a brewery tour weekend. Great views and plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other. Check in was a very easy process and Samantha communicated great with us about any questions prior to arrival. We had brought plenty of yard games to play, but to save you the trouble, Samantha already had plenty of games there for us to use, (cornhole, ladder ball, lawn darts etc...) This summer has been unseasonably hot, so guessing this would not be a problem 95% of the time. However as a heads up, there is no air conditioning in the house. We had 2 rotating fans for 2 of the bedrooms but could have definitely used more fans for the kitchen, downstairs living room and downstairs bedrooms. In regards to the pond, I am not sure if this is a season thing again as we were there early August, However we attempted to go down to the pond one day and the bugs were out of control. Didn't even make it into the water before they were attacking us and decided to head back up to the house. Nothing to do with the host, obviously can't control wildlife, but just as a heads up.
In regards to our brewery tour, I would highly suggest using Tri State Transportation. They drove us around from 1-7 and we visited Long Trail, Harpoon/Silo (same location) and Outer Limits. Each brewery was about 30-40 minutes away from each other so while you will be in the van for close to 2 hours, they do allow alcohol on board so makes the time go by quick.
Overall a 9.5/10 and would definitely recommended staying at Samantha property if you are looking for a secluded house to unwind.
