We had a great stay! What stood out: clean rooms - we had two (spotless), staff were so curteous and pleasant, beds and pillows conforatable, nice walk in hot shower, heating in the rooms was perfect, amenities like the breakfast was wonderful and the parking was useable, although we used the public car park as not to be parked in. Thanks to the front desk manager we put extra time in the metre overnight because the traffic warden is out there before 8 o'colck!

I always stay here when I come to Shrewsbury, and it never disappoints! A really lovely family run hotel, with the most amazing breakfasts! The rooms are always clean and the staff really care about their guests. I would highly recommend.

This was our 2nd vist to the hotel, we love it. Great location, parking, the owners & staff are great. Decor is kept up to a high standard, whole place is spotless. Breakfast is superb. Highly recommended we will definitely be back.

This is the second time I have stayed here because of its location and the friendliness of the host and staff. It is an ideal place to stay if you are attending a show at Theatre Severn as its only a 25 minute riverside walk away, thus avoiding the town centre

Friendly hotel

Clean and tidy, good food , friendly staff. Only negative was the shower rail was loose and the fan very noisy, just a bit of TLC needed in the shower room . But over all i would recommend the hotel.. Especially the staff.

Certainly the staff, were very friendly & helpful as were the lobby (common areas) bright & cheery. My particular room was a bit ‘dated’ with smaller space in the room itself and bathroom. Noise from an adjacent pub garden was excessive as well as from the back-area housing estate. On the upside: the general location is quite convenient for lovely walks alongside the River Severn and central Shrewsbury shopping & entertainment. Decent value for money if you can stand the mediocre facilities. (Maybe a visit by the British Show (Hotel Inspector) might help? Breakfast (btw) was average … Recommended with some reservation. R
