Spacious lake house

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful lake house! It was the perfect setting for our ladies weekend—peaceful, relaxing, and absolutely charming. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated, with plenty of comfortable space for everyone to gather, laugh, and unwind. The lake view was stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed for shared meals, and the cozy living areas made it easy to just relax and enjoy each other’s company. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to reconnect and make memories. Highly recommend—thank you for hosting us

It's Outstanding

This was our second time to stay. The pictures are a great representation of the house. It makes you feel like you are home. We are older and don't even make use of all the amenities, but we love it.From the time you arrive until the time you arrive until the time you leave, there is always something to do. There is a game room, a dock for fishing, a fire pit for making smores or roasting hotdogs, a game room, and board games in case it rains or gets too hot outside. And this is the short list. We are already planning our next trip.

Amazing experience

Our daughter got married nearby and we rented this home for our family coming in from 3 different states. It was perfect for us and so beautiful. The back yard looks like a park, so nice and green with big trees, a fire pit, and a dock with kayaks. We brought our boat and enjoyed going to Stumpy’s at the marina for dinner and the sunsets on the boat ride back. The house was very clean and updated nicely. Definitely the nicest place we have ever rented. Communication was also excellent. We will definitely be back!

There were 5 older women on the trip, & we all had plenty of private space & the kitchen had everything we needed. We sat down by the water every day. This property was our dream vacation. My family, kids and gran kids, had a wonderful time at the “Shorhaus”. We love boating, fishing and just relaxing. This place had it all. It was comfortable for all and close enough for Granbury activities in town. Well be back!

Would stay here again.

House and stay was great. Host was very responsive to all questions before and during stay. Host let us know on arrival the coffee maker was broke and a new one was delivered that afternoon. Kids loved the lily pad and kayaks. Cove was great for swimming even with a lot of boats on the water Saturday and Sunday. Would definitely stay there again.

Shore house stay

This property was perfect for our needs for our son's graduation celebration from Tarleton University in Stephenville. The short distance allowed for us to escape the crowds and retreat to this tranquil spot. There was something for everyone to enjoy! From the kayaks to the ping pong table, cornhole, firepit, the list goes on.....it was perfect! The college kids had a blast, and the family did too! Great Stay

The house and property were amazing. We all loved the house and the property owners were on the ball for any issues we encountered. We do have some some recommendations for future groups in our age range (65+). Reading lights by the beds, grab bars in the showers and mirrors in the bedrooms for make up and hair. There were 2 things we noted that may need attention. There was a leak in the game room after the storm that went though and the shower drain in the shared bath was loose which ccould cause a problem. FYI the storage room at the dock was not locked when we arrived, but we made sure it was when we left. We definitely want to stay there again in the future.

Wonderful Property!

This is an amazing vacation spot! The house is so cute and has tons of great features for a weekend or vacation stay. The game room is right off of the main living area, all of which over looks the lake. The property is water front and has a great sitting area/fire pit right by the water. The host is incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We travelled with our toddler, and there was a high chair, which was perfect and a very considerate add. We have only good things to say!! Highly recommend.

Lakeside Fun!

Great property! Great communication, clean, great location on the lake, fire pit , shuffleboard, ping pong and fooseball. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and all the little details were taken care of! Definitely recommending and will come again!

Relaxing Weekend by the Lake

I can't say enough nice things about this rental. First off, communication was AMAZING and everything we requested was promptly addressed and taken care of without hesitation. Which I truly appreciate when traveling! We were greeted with a very nice welcome note and gift - thank you! The house is just as pictured and described. We had 6 adults, 1 infant and 3 dogs, and there was plenty of room of everyone to spread out and have their own space to relax, fish, play games or nap. Having two refrigerators was great! Just a few minutes from everything you might need, including downtown restaurants, grocery stores, hospital, etc. Highly suggest you try Pearl Street Station BBQ.

Shorhaus the place to stay!

It was perfect for our family. The house is very accommodating for all ages and family sizes. You don’t need to bring a thing. Their private dock provided a place for us to tie our boat to and a place for our g’kids to fish off of. Great location on the lake and super place to stay. Fun had by all!!
