Visited Pune on 5th May for a office event. Tried The Pride Hotel for the proximity to our Pune office. Is an old property, some work is going on, I think they are trying to build some amenities like swimming pool, etc. But, the existing facility could have been maintained better. The lighting at the lobby can be lot better. Service is not so prompt, but, food will come hot to your room. The staff, though not so polite, but, are quiet professional in approach. The internet service too are limited by number of hours... Overall not so much value for the money paid.
Not a very great experience. The room is quite OK type, nothing home to write about. The bathroom fittings are obsolete, need to be replaced by latest modern ones. The buffet breakfast was below average both in terms of taste as well as the options.
A decent hotel with good ambience and close to eating joints. The carpeted rooms smelled moldy so best is to take a room with wooden flooring without carpets. The morning buffet is good, staff at the reception is very helpful and cooperative.
I stayed in the hotel in the last week for 2 nights. Apart from the decent hotel lobby, everything else looks pretty old. On their website they mention that theirs is a 5 Star Property and during my visit out there I never could associate that tag with this hotel. The doorman shouted on me as he opened my cab door from one side while I got out from the other side due to my luggage as well. The rooms are poorly maintained and its pretty obvious that no renovation has been done for years together. The washroom has a pretty old set up and is in urgent needs of repairs. The breakfast spread was not very interesting and for all the 2 days all I had was fruits and tea which again was not upto the mark. I have already informed my office booking team not to give options of this hotel while booking as it is just not up to the standards. The hotel wifi is pretty slow and can connect only one devise at one time.
The Hotel is located in the centre of city and recommended for Business and family trip. Rooms are of good size and fairly clean and with all the basic facilities. The service is prompt and breakfast id just okay as usual in this kind of hotels
Overall excellent services..cooperative staff.mr Bipin sharma and kishor and team served excellent services ..All arrangement done well..IN advance..food is excellent.Good rooms..hygienic...located centrally ..For everyone..we have 10 years experience ..every time its improvement seen....
Centrally located with decent rooms The breakfast spread was decent Value for money The staff were very courteous Room maintenance was good and neat Overall a good decent hotel to stay with family and friends
There was no water in the swimming pool. The gym is in terrible condition. The weights from the last century. The equipment is not unbalanced and cause injury. The gym is one corner of the hotel. Breakfast is OK. The dhaba food is ok. The rooms are spacious but the maintenance is not keeping pace. The free wifi is for 8 hours. Ancient!!! Overall not worth spending the money.
Centrally located and easily approachable. Decently spaced rooms. Free Wi-Fi is provided and speed is decent. Buffet Break-fast is complimentary and the spread is good. Scope for improvement in service.
If you ask me value for money I will rate them below "1" points. While charging 70$ I was editing this hotel to be as good as Ibis or equivalent chains but I was disappointed. Except fair breakfast I have no positive feedback. Very old hotel itseems .. may be a star hotel 20 years back.. they don't even have a plug point near the bed switch to keep the phone charging. You will take 10 min to understand how Tata sky TV works to play the TV and I didn't do that and browsed instead but the wifi was very week but Airtel 3G in phone was good. It's a high time for a renovation ( except climate control everything else is 90s) . Bathroom amenities is so bad like a below average hotel in india. I am giving a very strong feedback to my corporate teams not to book anymore here Tail end: since I started my career in Mumbai and Pune I know even 15 years back Pune used to be very expensive for hotels and these guys also following the same trend it seems !!!!
