Booked very last minute and we're wonderfully received. A quirky interesting building with entrancing gardens. Our family room was large with proper additional bed a huge mirror and a swing. Great bar area. Lovely food and the waiter did everything to accommodate our varied requests. Truffle was very happy here too
A truly wonderful day from beginning to end x The atmosphere was memorable and the food was exceptional ❤️Everything was at hand and it just seemed to flow throughout the day xx I simply loved all the rooms and details this old yet well looked after hotel had x amazing gardens and friendly staff xx
We had an excellent dinner. Not a cheap night out, but excellent quality and friendly staff. Catered well for people with Coeliac disease. We did feel a little pressure to rush through, which we ignored. Only when we left did we find out the restauraunt closes at 9.00 - we left at 11.00. No negativity from the staff about this and we left feeling a little guilty. But it wad an excellent evening.
If you are looking for something different this is the place.Beer very good ,wine great, rooms very different. The food is exceptional ,there is a lot going on,on the plate,it has taste .The next day walk around the gardens and you will see the produce and smell the herbs.Good parking and worth the drive from wolverhampton, Ground floor toilets (gents an experience in itself) ,i will be returning.
Jade and I would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you for everything you have done for us over the past year and a half. Thanks to you and all the wonderful staff at the Hundred House Hotel, we haven't had to worry or stress about anything. Your commitment and organisation allowed us to be so calm and relaxed on the day of our wedding and we cannot thank you enough! Please extend our thanks to ALL at the Hundred House Hotel for making our wedding, as Jade would say... 'the best day EVER'. Love Mr and Mrs Seaman
Completely amazing in every way. From first seeing the pictures on the website we loved the place but we new it had to be the place we got married after meeting the staff.....they were even more excited about our wedding than we were. Nothing was too much trouble with great communication throughout and happy to add/change details up until the day. Words could never do the venue justice, it has to be seen to be believed.....the barn, rooms, food & gardens are magical...a perfect setting for a perfect day. Have a wonderful wedding day at the hundred house, you won't regret it X
My daughter held her wedding in the Tythe Barn at the Hundred House and everything was perfect. The food was excellent and the staff were incredibly helpful. We stayed the night in a lovely room (with a swing!) and had a great breakfast the next morning. The Herb Garden and Enchanted garden are also well worth a visit. Good beers on tap in the bar. No complaints whatsoever and a day to remember.
was attending a wedding feast .,found this old hotel a delight ,very unique ,the meal of lamb ,veg , roast potatoes ,and mash ,yummie cooked to perfection ,soup for starters ,came to the table on a hot plate ,enjoyed it [as i am i not a soup person ]loved it converted ,and sweet mmmm lovely ,would not mind a return trip sometime
This is one of the few hotels were I have felt truly "at home".Service friendly and genuine, food very good, lots of olde world charm and really enchanting garden. We stayed in Angelica on our first night and 2 weeks later had 2 rooms Taragon and Marjoram overlooking rear garden - all lovely and pets welcome without any fuss, so this is now my "go to" place in Shropshire.
My wife and I came for Sunday dinner and ordered a Sunday roast. It arrived in less than 2 mins. There was very little vegatables . A Yorkshire pud so big and crispy it burst like a balloon when cut.A slice of meat. Little gravy a small portion of mash. All the food was fairly cold. The service was excellent and whilst we ate what we ordered we feel the food was way under par from 6 months ago.it won't deter us from coming back but need to brush up on portion size. Quality and temperature for the cost
