The rooms are lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and the host was terrific. He is fluent in English too, which made is easy for an English speaker.
We couldn't actually stay here. The guy on site was very nice and friendly. I booked this place because I was told that no pets were allowed. I have severe allergies and asthma. Like hospitalization bad... Well, the reason pets weren't allowed is because they have cats and dogs. When we were shown to our room, we found assorted fur on the bed, pillows floors, desk, everywhere. My lungs started to close up in like 10 minutes. I had to leave. The guy who greeted us was very understanding. Unfortunately, we picked one of the few multilingual places in that area. We couldn't find another multilingual place so we had to drive almost 3 hours to find a non-dog friendly chain hotel in Vermont. Overall, it would have been fine without my allergies but fur everywhere is still nasty.
