My grandson was excited for a swim in the pool but when we got there it was not heated (the middle of winter). The rooms were clean but dated and the bed was hard. Room service was not available after 8.15pm even though it was a Friday night and meals were still being ordered and served in the restaurant. The hotel demanded a $200 deposit or you could not stay so on top of paying $210 for the room it meant $410 had come out of my account before I even entered the room, unlike other accommodation where they just have a copy of your cc details. There are nearly 100 rooms at this hotel so if it is full that is $20,000 that the hotel is holding overnight - what do they do with this money? Overall a disappointing experience and I would not stay there again. Look elsewhere.

I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I was thoroughly impressed. The amenities are excellent, the restaurant is lovely, and the staff are warm and welcoming. This is a good property to stay, however it had problems with the lift, and my wife has trouble with stairs and we on second floor, otherwise I do recommend this place.

Not up to their usual high standard

Disappointing. We had not been alerted to current renovations going on. Bed was very soft causing back ache. Crockery was not cleaned and replaced overnight. fridge was unusually noisy overnight. Unfortunately there were very noisy guests until after midnight in the adjoining room.
