I got some serious insect bites on my 2 legs from sitting on the fabric sofa. It was so serious I have to get antibiotics from the doctor after reaching my home country. It took 2 weeks for the boils to subside but the marks are still faint after 2 months. No one told us about the short cut to the theme park and we walked the longer route the first day. So, I am not pleased. Breakfast is ok. Hotpot at the restaurant is nice but not cheap. I won't be back.
I would agree that the hotel was a bit of a maze, but we didn't really have any trouble getting to and from breakfast, our room, and Knight Valley. Admittedly, we are use to staying in 7 Days and Pod inns, but we found a luxury suite and two day tickets for cheap online. We had no trouble, loved the waterfall shower and incredibly soft and comfortable bed. Had a bathtub in the bedroom which we made full use of, along with the breakfast. Got really great experience for what we paid. We've talked about trying to do again in the future.
Stayed here for a night, location is good and selling quite cheap rate. Breakfast was poor, so many mainland people, is that they no need to line up for waiting?(For me, i need to wait around 30 mins for a table), and the restaurant staff let them go first.... Room was bad, and pretty dirty!! Wont be come back anymore.
There are several points for improvement for this hotel: 1) The shuttle service here is the worst I have ever experienced. Shuttle buses are very dirty and have only around 10+ seats. They come every 30 mins which is very infrequent considering it is the only means of getting out of the hotel. For people without cars, you have no way to get out of the hotel after the shuttle service stops. Also, there is no line up for shuttle buses, people just rush to the door of the bus when it comes. you could wait for 30 mins without getting on. 2) Bathroom condition is below standard, you can see yellow stains on the floor and in the shower closet. 3) Breakfast buffet is ok, but there isn't enough utensils. When we ask the staff if there will be more plates, they simply tell us because there are so many people visiting, there are not enough utensils, this is just an unacceptable excuse. 4) Confusing layout of the hotel. first off, the naming convention of room numbers doesn't make any sense. our room is 8508, but it's not on the 8th floor, its on the 5th. I don't understand why they have to add the 8 in front. Second, to get to the park, you need to take a separate elevator to the 6th floor in the middle of the corridor. there are no clear signs directing people where to go.
booked a room for appx US$ 300/ night , and what you get is a hotel looking like a science fiction movie set , but no practical approach , i dont know what came to the mind of architecture team who designed it . am cursing my self by not paying attention to the reviews posted by fellow advisors . the main problem is accessing the rooms on 7th floor , for which you have to take one lift till 5th floor then a long walk to take second lift till 6th and again a small ramp walk to take last lift to your room on 7th floor . the lobby on 5th floor is so smelly with the damp carpet it seems that it was once flooded with water and still its not dry . when we entered room same was the case with rooms thought maybe after putting AC on for some time will make it better , but when it didnt become tolerable had to call reception to change room , were shown 3 diff rooms and same problem , since ours was a suite room so they didnt have enough rooms for us to show , ultimately had to pick the least smelling room , sprayed half a can of our deo to make it breathable , after few hours or so it became better or may be it was sleep which made us forget the smell. level of english very very poor ,i expect the level of front staff atleast for communication , but you feel like banging your head to wall , if you cant speak or understand chinese , must not adventure to stay here . breakfast very normal , and food choice in restauarant very minimal . would consider staying in this kind of hotel if avbl for $50 , else not advise to hotel , must remove all carpets one by one from all floors , since its in a aqua park and rains come almost everyday , the dampness never goes.
I have stayed 1 night in Aqua Hotel. My 1st impression is good in general as the places are clean and new. We need to change 2 lifts to go to our room and it looks like a maze. However, the design is quite modern and i like it. Our surprise came from the sizable and comfortable room. There is a tub placed in the middle of the room. We like it! The theme park is beside the hotel but we were difficult to find a way back to hotel after leaving the park. In general, it was out of my expectation because of the room.
This Hotel is a maze. It takes 10-15 minutes from Block A to Block B after changing three different set of lifts which are located in the middle of corridors. It also take quite some effort to find the special hotel guest entrance to the theme park. The hotel guest entrance/exit to the park is invisible from the park and you have to remember your way. Since the park will not be lit immediately after the opening hour (6pm), we had great difficulties in finding our way back and had no choice but to leave the park first and walk up to the hotel outside the park (with street lights luckily). The hotel is also full of paint smell. The breakfast is a struggle as everyone is grabbing for food. The service is so so and there is almost no facilities in the hotel (pool, gym, business cnetre etc.).
Please be aware that this review is from a stay a year ago. A year ago, this hotel was not listed on tripadvisor so I couldn't post it then. I actually *waited* a year until this listing was up, to post the review. That's how bad my experience was. However, it has been a year. PERHAPS they've been able to change some things. Whatever you do, do not bother spending your money at this "new" hotel. I just came back from spending two days there for Oct 1, and the "hardware" has some serious issues! First, VERY inconvenient layout. To reach our rooms from the lobby, we had to take THREE elevators AND walk down 2 small flights of stairs!! While we were on the far end of the hotel, minimum you will take 2 elevators and most likely have to deal with 1 flight of stairs. Second, the room still smelled slightly of paint so if you like to inhale paint fumes, then this is the room for you. Third, our JBL iPod Speaker Radio was already broken. Fourth, we had to move rooms during our stay, BECAUSE the shower stall door wasn't correctly installed and fell and broke over the bathroom floor! Fifth, you walk under a waterfall/river to reach the lobby. Panels of the glass separating us from the water already had cracks running through them! Sixth, because the area around the hotel is new, the ONLY thing open at night to eat are the 2 hotel "restaurants". There are two major sections of the amusement park, separated by cable cars. This hotel is in the newer section. The cable cars stop running around 9 or 10pm though so if you eat dinner late, or want to catch a show on the other side, you need to wait for the shuttle to drop you off at the hotel parking lot, and call for a buggy to come down from the hotel to get you. The food was adequate. Is there a reason to stay here? Spend your money at one of the other hotels.
在東部華僑城園區內, 不是豪華型酒店, 算是一間精品酒店. 價錢相對比較便宜. 酒店以藍白色為主色調, 設計不俗, 但保養一般, 有點舊, 房間清潔做得不好, 有待改善.
