most terrible experience i have ever had

When we arrived at night (11 pm) the reception is locked and the phone call go straight to voice message. I asked Hotel.com customer service to contact them and the phone call couldn't get through as well. Been waiting for around an hour until hotel.com finally found them and the guy show up to open the door for me. After I moved in it is the most horrible hotel I have ever seen, btw I am sales so I travel around different cities and live in different hotels all the time. The bulbs are flashing like I am clubbing, the wall is broken, a screw stuck out from the sink, the floor is breaking down, not clean, heating is not good and no A/C, poor quality furniture, sink in the bathroom does not work well so when I took my shower the water went all over the floor. The towel is also of poor quality. I can not believe this is an 8.6 score fabulous hotel. Also, the wall is really thin, I could hear the next-door kid yelling all the time. I barely had any sleep that night and it was terrible. Hope i could upload the videos of the flashing light.

The apartment was nice bright and clean ,freindly guy at reception was very helpfull,good central spot to shops and restaurants.The only thing though the bed is very very firm and i struggled to sleep also the people in the other apartments seemed to think it was ok to bang doors and shout at 2am outside the door so left the next day very tired.

Great location shame about party rooms

Booked for 4 night Weds - Sat great apartment and lovely staff guy on arrival was super helpful and very keen to look after us showed us to room and had out heating on ahead of arrival. Weds & Thurs all good. Friday night guys checked in on same floor loud music and very loud talking/shouting till gone 1am asked security to ask them to turn it down and specifically said I didn't want to be mentioned was on my own with my daughter. Heard him knock on the door and say that the woman in the apartment next door had complianed ☹️ went quiet for a bit then started again. Saturday night more of the same different party group loud around 10 then again around 1am. Booked specifically because deatails said apartments did not accommodate for parties daughter was at nationals swimming competition and I was working while there so sleep was important to us both such a shame as the guys on the desk were generally amazing

Great location, great staff, highly recommended!

Rarely stay in Sheffield but wanted more space than the chain hotels provide, this was perfect. Two decent sized bedrooms, spacious living room / kitchen diner. Decor is certainly fun and it's the jazziest bathroom i've ever stayed in! Staff are excellent and helpful. There 24hrs to help. Happily stay again in such a handy location.

The apartment was comfortable but some essentials provisions eg mugs/cups/wine glass were not enough. The location is convenient but very noisy with traffic and Saturday night passers by making raucous noise which made sleep difficult , also more so as the mattress was too firm veering on hard. Overall it was very pricey given it is self catering .

The people are great and the location is pretty good...not too far from city center. However... - no hand towels or rags in the bathroom - only serviced 1 time in the 4 days I was there - cleaning is VERY light. there was dust everywhere and the carpets crunched and had stuff in them

Could have been a great stay.

The overall stay was OK, I wouldn't go again. The bed was so hard and impossible to get comfy. My bed at home is very firm but this felt like sleeping on the floor. The hot water ran out very quickly, I ran a bath and before it was full the water out of the tap was luke warm at best. The space in the apartment was great, lovely kitchen. TV connected to the Internet. The finish to the rooms wasn't great, lots of little things needed a bit of attention. Really wish the bed had been comfortable as it's a great location and great value for money.
