This newly remodeled vacation rental is ready to take you back to the California Gold Rush! Featuring all new flooring, granite countertops, a beautiful stone shower, fireplace, and more! With three bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a spectacular outdoor setting, there is plenty of space your group to spread out and enjoy their stay. This property is centrally located in the heart of Shaver Lake, so you will have the convenience of being walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants, and the lake!

I like to give my guests their privacy during their stay and let them enjoy themselves. However, I am always available for any questions or recommendations!

While the Miners Suite feels just the right amount of secluded, you’re still walking distance from all of our favorite shops and restaurants. The lake is approx. 1 mile down the road, so it’s a very short drive. You can also take a hiking trail located right across the street from the property that will lead you to the lake, or the museum where you can learn all about the history that makes Shaver Lake what it is today!

If you’re visiting in the winter months, China peak Ski Resort is about 25-minute drive from the property where you can go skiing/snowboarding. There is also a couple of snow parks where you and your family can go sledding.


This building is a 4-plex, meaning it provides four separate rentals each with its own private entrance. The only shared space will be outside the building where the firepits and picnic table is located. It provides a great opportunity to meet other travelers in the area!

The newly remodeled kitchen features stunning black granite countertops, complemented by a sleek stainless-steel sink. Freshly painted in a calming sage green, the ambiance is both inviting and serene. Fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and additional amenities, the kitchen will have everything you need to cook delicious meals during your stay. Adjacent, the dining room table accommodates up to six guests, creating the perfect space for your group to sit down and enjoy meals together.

The spacious living room has a leather couch, recliner, and a large flat screen TV that is equipped with a Blu-Ray DVD player and a Roku device so you can stream all of your favorite movies and TV shows! During winter months, guests can snuggle up and enjoy the warmth of the electric fireplace.

This suite features three bedrooms, each designed with your utmost comfort in mind. In the first bedroom, you’ll find a comfortable king-size bed. The second bedroom offers a cozy queen-size bed that sits into the wall creating more space in the bedroom. The third bedroom has two twin-size beds, perfect for kids or extra guests. Each bedroom will include fresh clean sheets, a comforter, and extra blankets.

In an effort to accommodate our most sensitive guests, we have opted to create an allergen-free environment. This means there are no feathers, down, or carpet in this home.

The outdoor amenities are just as spectacular! There are two separate firepit areas that offer a bar top, charcoal BBQs, and plenty of chairs for your friends and family to sprawl out and enjoy the fresh mountain air. There is also a large deck that can serve as an outdoor dining area that has a picnic table and another charcoal BBQ.

Head East on Hwy 168 until you reach the town of Shaver Lake. After you pass the Hungry Hut, you'll make a left turn on Walburn Rd. and follow the road to the left onto Digger Ln. You'll see a big Green building on your left.
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a coffee maker and a dining table.

This property is cute. The host is easy to communicate with. There are plenty of beds and blankets and TVs in each room. The kitchen is fully stocked which made it easy to cook. The bathroom has shampoo and conditioner on the counter which I thought was a nice touch. However, there were a few small issues. The floors didn’t seem clean enough and when one of the recliners were moved there was a lot of trash and what appeared to be dog toys. Which is gross. Also the sink wasn’t draining and disposal wouldn’t turn on. All in all it was a great rental for a one night stay at the snow. I would for sure rent again.

Great spot in the middle Shaver.

We loved our overnight stays in Shaver. This rental was definitely worth the seat. Shops, restaurants and open areas for the kids to play in the snow were close by. Inside was nice and cozy with a great layout with a full kitchen, and heat was well maintained with personal heaters in every room. Stormy was very responsive and addressed any concerns we had. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay. Our Kids loved it and we look forward to next winter or possibly this summer.
