We stayed in Japanese Western Style Room with Japanese Futon and the room is BIG~ Hotel room furnishing is on the older end but overall the room was comfortable. Onsen was great too. Hotel can be a little inconvenient for travellers without a car. For those driving, there is ample parking available both in front and behind the hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended stay when in Utoro, Shiretoko!

It’s a grand and glamorous hotel which witnesses the glorious days of Japan. There’s a huge lobby with a European style library. The lounge is huge with sunset ocean views. The hot springs is huge too that is built by jade. The room is spacious and comfortable. Front desk helped us booking a five lake tour. Breakfasts were very good. Didn’t try dinner. Stayed there 2 nights. Memorable!

Most of the staff are not Japanese, so they do not care about the service This hotel is suitable for your group, not for individual bookings. The good things about the hotel, the dinner is good. But we don't try the breakfast because they close early at 8.30 am
