In the charming mountain village of Sfakia, nestled at the base of the White Mountains at an altitude of 780 meters, you'll discover the Nomas house. Nomas is a detached tourist house, covering an area of about 75m², and can comfortably accommodate 2 to 6 guests.



This building is a traditional stone structure, commonly known as a one-roomed chamber house with mezzanines. Traditional wooden stairs inside the house provide access to both the ground floor and the mezzanines. Renovated in line with the architectural style of Sfakia, it features the characteristic stone arch, wooden beams on the roof, and the addition of industrial-industrial elements. The interior design of Nomas perfectly complements the traditional aesthetics of the region, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with all modern amenities. The house includes 3 double beds, 1 bathroom, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing your favorite dishes. The wooden furniture, earthy colors, linens, and industrial elements are carefully combined to create a harmonious blend of traditional and modern industrial design.

Tolle Lage in den Bergen, sehr natürlich. Auch das Haus selbst ist Klasse und war gut vorbereitet. Insekten werden durch Gitter rundum effektiv draußen gehalten. Der Pool ist klein, aber gut nutzbar. Alles völlig ausreichend für 5 Personen. Es gab sogar Obst, Wasser und andere kühle Getränke. Für die nächsten Tage ist ein Mini-Supermarkt im Dorf fußläufig erreichbar. Etwas überraschend waren die vielen Tiergeräusche. Es beginnt mit nächtlichen Schafwanderungen, die unzählige Halsglocken bimmeln lassen und endet mit dem Hahn bei Sonnenaufgang. Auf jeden Fall viel schöner, als hämmernde Party-Bässe, aber zum Schlafen mussten wir dann doch alle Fenster schließen und uns mit der Klimaanlage behelfen, was wir in den ersten Tagen noch vermieden hatten, um Energie zu sparen und stattdessen frische Bergluft durchziehen zu lassen. Wir haben 2 kleine Kritikpunkte, die man leicht abstellen kann: Der Hauswasserfilter war grün/schwarz und das Geschirr ist zu spärlich (z.B. nur 3 Tassen) und war bei uns weitestgehend unsauber. Während der Zwischenreinigung wird nicht viel Zeit sein, so dass man vom Hygieneanspruch der vorherigen Mieter abhängig ist. Das Besteck haben wir komplett ausgekocht, um den schwarzen Belag in den Zwischenräumen der Gabel-Zinken ablösen und schließlich entfernen zu können. Ein Geschirrspüler würde helfen, den Reinigungsgrad zu standardisieren. Letztlich sind das aber alles Kleinigkeiten, mit denen man vor Ort gut umgehen kann.
