The property was gorgeous, the staff was all great and the room was very comfortable. The greatest part of the place, in my opinion, was the shuttle. The shuttle runs every hour and takes you to a few places around town. They'll also drop you other places along the way if you ask nicely. There's no cost, and the drivers all do a great job of pointing things out, offering suggestions and just being great Seward ambassadors. There's a free city shuttle going around the town that stops at some places the Windsong shuttle doesn't go to, so between the two, you don't need to do any of your own driving if you don't want to.

I didn't like that the balcony was directly on top of the woods, couldn't use it. Room was basic but was clean. No issues with room. LIked the grab and go breakfast. Staff was very friendly.

Extremely overpriced as per the quality. We payed more than $500 per night but the room was lacking basic amenities like microwave. Also, in all other places we stayed in our Alaska trip had table fan as there were no AC. This property didn’t have that. The view was also very ordinary, just some trees. Won’t recommend.

The reception was OK, but we did not exactly enjoy the rooms. The rooms had many things on the floor and it was not maintained and when I asked them to clean my room, they just came and they came way too late after I asked him to, and even then they didn’t clean the floor and all they did was make my bed. I overall wish that I could stay at any better place. Now the good parts, the Reception is OK and the green the greenery was amazing. If it wasn’t for the greenery I would say I would give it the worst reviews ever also, the nearby restaurant Resurrection roadhouse was OK too. They gave decent food. It was American diner, but it was the only place there although there were some good parts like these I would still choose to go somewhere else

I was on the bottom floor so you can hear everything from the floor above you. The room doesn’t have a/c so a fan would have been nice. The staff came in the room while we were out and after we had already checked in our room and dropped off our things. And they entered the room the following morning while we were in there - before checkout time. So- that was uncomfortable but overall, I loved the lodge and the cafe and I will still definitely come again. The staff was friendly.

Great location - nestled in wilderness yet close to the town. Great shuttle service - drivers Jimmy & Mike were friendly, helpful and informative. Kathy at front desk arranged our Exit glacier tour when we were not able to get anything since it was the 4th of July. It’s definitely overpriced (400$+ per night) but at least the experience was great!
