The hotel is just next to Nervion metro station within 2 minutes walk. The room is fully-furnished and clean. But it's still a distance to city center from the hotel, around 15-20 minute walk. Also, there aren't lots of restaurants surrounding the hotel; therefore, the travelers would need to take a walk to city center in order to have a meal.
I would not consider this Hotel to be rated as 4 stars. The room we stayed in seemed outdated and the walls were mouldy. The receptionist who attended us during check-out was impolite; no smile, no courtesy and no thank you come again. Just snatched to take my debit card. The only positive remarks i would mention is the location, just 10 minutes walk from the historic city centre. Will never stay there again.
I have stayed in the location before and although it is not new, or fancy, it is comfortable, safe and in a great location. Decent, not great service. Excellant breakfast Very affordable. Older hotel, showing it's age I'll be back
The bed- and bathroom were clean and ok, the food was good and ok, the price was ok - but the service in the breakfast room was incredible. I stayed in many hotels but I was never treated so badly than there.
Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations and is not NH standard. Walls by the window and in the shower very moldy, TV did not work properly and WiFi was down after the first night for 48hours. I have raised the issues with a member of the reception staff: The moldy walls are “normal” because of the humidity and the not functioning WiFi is "not their fault" as a third partner maintains it. They promised to check the TV but nothing has happened after 3 nights. Even from the outside, the hotel is not in an appealing condition. Except for this, the room was clean and the location is fine (close to shopping malls and metro station). There is a nice local place for breakfast just across the street and an ok bar just next door.
The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's pretty nice in the inside. The rooms are a little bit old, but fully furnished. The bed was really nice and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and fully equipped. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the Wi-Fi, very bad. I could barely get signal in the room, and I was travelling for business so I needed Wi-Fi. A part from that, it was all good. Another minor thing that I didn't like was that I asked for a smoking room, and it was confirmed at check-in, but there was no ash tray in the room. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful, quick check-in and check-out, good attention over the phone. Location was also good, but maybe not for someone travelling for sightseeing as it's a little bit far from the city center. I recommend it.
As a base for exploring Seville (one of the best cities in our view), this hotel was fine, with helpful staff, nice furnishings and linens, extra pillows provided when requested, close to the city, comfortable beds, hotel leisure and fitness centre (extra) and, although there was no kettle in the room, they were happy to provide hot water (lemsip!). One of our party of 5 (who paid more) claimed to have a tassimo coffee machine in his room, although no coffee was produced as evidence! The gripes : 1. We stayed at this hotel through an e-dreams deal and breakfast was not included but can be bought for €18. It didn't look like anything special so we tried the hotel coffee shop for breakfast. Waitresses were lovely and friendly, but the head waiter/manager was awful. When we requested poached eggs (only scrambled eggs were on the menu - and they were swimming in oil), the waitress agreed, but a fight ensued. The poor waitress was shouted at by the head waiter/manager (in Spanish so we could not understand), on full view of everyone, which was appalling behaviour. We took it to mean that she shouldn't have agreed to take our order, as we had to wait for our eggs for about 30 minutes. When they arrived, we were determined to eat them all up, to show our appreciation, but they were actually inedible - they had been poached in vinegar. We subsequently had breakfasts in town, where a parma ham hot sandwich, coffees, fruit juice etc would cost a mere €10. 2. We stayed in November but it was hot! :-) But, when we switched the air-conditioning on, it only blew out hot air. The hotel said that it was in "winter mode" and would only operate as a heater. It only worked as an air-con during summer! We really should not complain as we had a very cheap holiday, but the hotel is rated 4 star.
I have been hosted many times at this hotel. Located in the new part of the city, 20 minutes nice walk from the center. Service is good, rooms are quiet and comfortable (the ones that face Eduardo Dato street are a little bit noisier) and, above all, breakfast is inccredible!
Every staff member here was warm and generous and happy to assist in every way possible. I visited with my tour group in July of 2016. Unfortunately on the evening of day 3 the hotel hosted a dinner for our group on a raised platform of the dining room where there was no clear definition or delineation of the edge by any barrier or rope. At the end of dinner as we engaged in conversation I inadvertently took 1 step in the wrong direction and fell head first from the raised area to the floor which resulted in a fractured skull and up to 80% bruising on my brain. I was taken to the hospital and treated for concussion and the fracture returning to the hotel 2 days later to prepare to continue to move onwRd to meet the group. It was at this time we discovered that I was not the first guest who had experienced such an incident although the damage with mine was definitely the worst seen. Needless to say I slept my way across Europe until I was able to return to Canada and subsequently endured seizures after returning. I have not returned to work as yet and am still working hard at restoring my brain and physical attributes to what was there before the fall. What disappoints most is that my attempt to contact the hotel in order that they understand their accountability for what happened and do what is necessary to prevent it from happening to anyone again resulted in . . . Nothing. My life has forever been changed and they just keep doing things as they ever have. As a travel agent I will never sell them again. And I will never stay at one on their hotels ever again. . . That is if I am ever able to travel again. 20 years all stopped in one moment. And a corporation that just didn't seem to care. The hotel was clean. Well located. Such a shame that such a good experperience ended up so marred by management that just doesn't care.
Good location in quiet area within easy reach of center of city to either walk or taxi (£5-8 cost). We had room only option and there are nearby places to eat breakfast on either side and opposite the hotel if you don't do breakfast at the hospital.
