All the essentials but not much else

The apartment is nice and the host was very accommodating and responsive, which is appreciated. Beyond that though, the accommodations were unexceptional, average at best. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are worse. The couch cannot be used at all, it is very old and uncomfortable, I’ve seen better in college dorms. The TV is the size of a laptop. The colander in the kitchen is plastic which doesn’t inspire confidence when draining boiling water. There was no coffee apart from a 10 drip coffee machine. Overall the supplies were bare minimum. There was not even a bottle of water to drink when we arrived after a long journey. With Sevilla being the hottest city in Europe, that’s a basic thing that should be there to greet guests and I think is a good representation of the overall stay; lack of care or attention to details both minor and not so minor. There was no soap or shampoo to use either. The location required a minimum 15-20 minute walk to get anywhere. This place could be much better with just a little effort and investment on the part of the host. Get water for guests when they arrive. Get better kitchen supplies. Get better mattresses and pillows. Get a coffee machine with espresso pods. These few improvements would make a big difference.

Good location

This unit could have been cleaner. Corners of room had dust & dirt. Light bulbs were dusty. 2 bedroom, one room had queen bed, other had 2 twin beds. Beds were IKEA thin mattress and base. One large body pillow. Towels were very strange, did not dry. One plus, there was a clothes washer & dryer.

A good value

This is one of the larger places we have stayed. It is rare to find a two bedroom/two bath place in this price range. Isabel was there to meet us. Our taxi driver couldn't find the place but Isabel was available to help us by being on the walk where we could see her.

Our Sevilla experience was fantastic!

Our host was most helpful! The apartment location was fantastic. Restaurants, groceries, and the Santa Justa train station were so convenient. We were able to walk to the city center by going through one of Sevilla’s beautiful parks. The apartment was very comfortable. We would love to return.

Great apartment, great location

The apartment is very comfortable (actually, we didn't need 2 bedrooms, but were very happy to have 2 bathrooms!). The kitchen is small but functional, and we used it for breakfast each morning, and our afternoon "snacks" after walking all day. The apartment is a few blocks from the edge of the historic downtown, which means is quieter than being in the downtown, and there are local restaurants and a market which is not packed with tourist. The apartment is quiet, and on the 3rd floor (there is an elevator). Isabel, the manager, was very helpful and made sure we got a complete overview of everything when we arrived. And, there is a washer and dryer! It was a very comfortable place for us to stay.

Wonderful apartment close to train station and historic area

My family (2 adults/2 teenagers) stayed at Isabel's property during our holiday in Spain. The apartment is as described and within a short walking distance to the main attractions including the Alcazar, cathedral and Bario Santa Cruz which is filled with restaurants, shops and tapas bars. No need to figure out the public transportation, everything can be seen on foot. The apartment had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The washer and dryer were a plus! Isabel was quick to respond to emails/texts prior to visit and was very helpful upon arrival providing maps and tourist guides for the beautiful city of Seville. The building is quiet and the neighborhood is safe. I would agree with other reviews about the sewer smell but again, sometimes that happens in older buildings and can easily be reduced by closing toilet lids and bathroom doors, overall, not a huge issue at all. I would definitely recommend this apartment and I would stay here again should my travels allow me to visit Seville again. Thank you, Isabel, for making our stay in Seville remarkable.

Wonderful space and walking distance to everything

The house worked perfect for our family of 4 (kids 11&14). It was walkable from the train station and then easily walkable to everything in central Seville. The apartment was clean and spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. A good Grocery store was nearby. We were there for the first part of Semana Santa and even managed to see the Easter parade from the church just down the street as it came out of the church. A wonderful visit.

Well positioned apartment in Seville,. Would definitely recommend the apartment to others. Safe, easy route to walk to apartment from the train station, 10-15 minutes and with children : ) . Owner was more than helpful. Would also recommend Seville at Christmas time. Superb place to eat breakfast before sightseeing only a couple of minutes from apartment.

Good location away from the tourist hordes, but city center close enough to walk

This apartment is just outside of the mostly pedestrian old city center which is crammed with tourists & tourist traps, and we consider that location a plus. One can still walk to the Cathedral & the Alcazar in less than 15 minutes. Near the apartment is Seville's financial district, which has a number of nice restaurants to choose from. There are lots of nearby grocery stores. If you want a cheap but excellent Spanish breakfast, turn left out the font door heading towards the main street, on the corner across from you on your side street is a large cafeteria . An excellent cappuccino and a fresh squeezed orange juice will cost only 3 Euros for both, and they also sell a "lunch menu deal " for 8.50 euros a person. No tourists here. About the apartment, the owner Isabel is pleasant but requires you to pay in person in cash rather than by CC in advance, unlike the 3 other apartments we rented in Spain thru Trip advisor, (this maybe a problem for some). When the hot water kettle broke, she promptly offered to buy a new one and bring it over, which was very nice. She ordered a Taxi for us for our departure. She lives in a different neighborhood, and can only give you generic neighborhood restaurant advice. The apartment is clean and comfortable, but not large, about 25% of it is hallway. We are not certain why the apartment receives such a high rating, as it was not up to the standards of the other 3 Spanish apartments we rented on this trip for about the same nightly rate. As one other reviewer has commented, one of the bathrooms (not the master) has an very bad odor, whether from the sewer or mold or both we are unsure ( the bathroom was clean). Since we were just a couple, we tried to use the master bathroom as much as possible to avoid the smell. I slept in the twin room and my wife the master, she found the Queen bed (newer?) to be comfortable, but I found the twin beds to have sad old mattresses, with saggy springs. The sheets came undone from the bed by the 3rd night, so I had to remake the bed and got a close look at its make up. Definitely time to be replaced. With these improvements, we would recommend this apartment. One last note, the apartment is on the second floor and has an elevator. However the elevator appears to be TURNED OFF beginning in the late evening (time unknown, 11.00pm?) and is turned back on after 9am. We discovered this a bit late on a Sunday morning as we had to carry our 4 bags down the stairs.

A nice experience!

This apartment is spacious and conveniently located to several grocery stores. It's a bit of a walk (15-20 minutes) to the historic sites. Our landlady was very responsive and helpful, coming over to start the clothes washer when we were unable to figure it out and even staying to hang our clothes up! One bathroom has a sewer smell, but that can happen in these older buildings. I recommend this apartment to anyone who would like a comfortable stay away from the hustle and bustle of the historic area.

Perfect to Exploer Seville!

Our host Isabel was patient, kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable! Muchas gracias Isabel!! The apartment was in a beautiful old building 10-15 minute walk from everything, including the train station. There are markets, restaurants, bars, and all the sights close by. The apartment itself is beautiful, well appointed, quiet, and cool in the heat of the summer. We would return in an instant, and stay for months!! We loved Sevillia, and the apartment :)

Bon séjour dans un appartement assez proche des lieux à visiter

Tout s'est très bien passé. Nous avons été très bien accueilli et la correspondance avec Isabel avant notre arrivée a été très cordiale et intentionnée. Petite remarque: il manque un peu d'équipement en vaisselle et batterie de cuisine, sinon l'appartement est conforme à la description.
