Gummy Bear Lair - Cozy cabin nestled in the Smokys near Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge!

Escape to our charming 2-level cabin nestled on over 2 acres right in the Smoky Mountains for a lovely getaway! While you may feel like you are hidden away in the mountains, we are just 3.1 miles to Pigeon Forge and 4.7 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg, two of the best family destinations in the US! We are just 5 miles to Dollywood and minutes from all the fun in Pigeon Forge (we like to call it "Kid Vegas!") We are equally close to Gatlinburg and all the amazing activities you can enjoy there. While you can take advantage of exploring our 2 acres, we are also just 5.9 miles to the entrance of the Smoky Mountains where there are numerous curated and gorgeous trails to wander and see beautiful waterfalls and more.

This newly renovated 2-bedroom retreat features 1 queen bed and 2 queen bunk beds, so it sleeps 10 people, making it perfect for large families. With 3 bathrooms equipped with hair dryers, showers, and a bathtub, you'll have all the comforts of home. Plus, enjoy the additional Guitar Hero room with a sofa bed and private bathroom for extra relaxation. If that isn't enough relaxation, hop in the outdoor hot tub or roast marshmallows by the firepit and take in the mountain air!

Our rooms, living areas and outdoor areas are spacious and filled with fun activities to create memories after a long day touring the cities attractions...we have a 2-player Guitar Hero arcade, full size air hockey table, electronic multi-player dartboard, board games, 2 large Smart TVs with streaming capabilities, reliable wifi via STARLINK, foosball table, cornhole, we also have a half-sized pickleball court right next to the mountain if you'd like to get a little competitive game of pickleball going!

We also provide a Keurig coffee bar with a few samplings of coffee, tea and hot chocolate to make your stay even more cozy.

We provide bath towels, hot tub towels, linens and more and there is a washer/dryer on site if you wish to launder your clothes during your stay. We also provide a limited amount of necessities: toilet tissue, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner/body soap, dishwasher pods, and paper towels.

It is important to note that the Smoky Mountains are home to the great Black bear, there are about 2 black bears per square mile, and so our property is definitely an active bear area, so while we want you to enjoy our property to its fullest, please note that you should familiarize yourself with Black bear rules and guidelines in the Smoky Mountains and ensure that is something you are ok with adhering to! The Black bears are majestic to see...from a distance! Bear safety and awareness should be priority number one! Children shouldn't be left unattended outdoors at any time and doors and car doors should always be closed and locked for your safety and the security of yours (and our) property. For this reason, we do not allow pets, for their own safety. We have 3 exterior security cameras, 1 facing the front door and front drive, 1 facing the carport, and 1 facing the side drive. Backyard, hot tub, and behind the house are all completely private. There are motion-activated exterior lights to help you get around the property at night safely.

Our driveway has loose gravel, but it is definitely not as steep as most driveways in the area. A 4-wheel drive is recommended but not necessary for accessing our property. We have plenty of parking in our gravel driveway, in front of the cabin or in the carport. (Roughly 4-6 vehicles could easily park in front of the cabin)

Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at our Gummy Bear Lair cabin!

Cozy cabin in the woods. Well appointed with all the comforts of home. Close to all that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer but still secluded. Teens loved the Atari

We loved staying at this property! The location was ideal for families wanting to experience Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Our crew wanted to explore both places, and we could be at one or the other within 7-8 minutes. This cabin was very private and secluded. No traffic, or cars driving by. This quiet atmosphere made for the most relaxing stay. The house was most likely the cleanest cabin we have ever rented! The floors, beds, bathrooms, and kitchen were all clean and tidy upon arrival. The only negative is the trash accumulation for a large family/stay longer than 3 days. There is only 1 trash receptacle with no local trash pickup. There were very few extra trash bags on the property, but the owner was very understanding of this issue and graciously suggested we leave the trash inside upon checkout. Other than 2 small spiders around the window area, there were no other bugs or critters on the inside of the property…which is surprising in the middle of the hills/wooded area. The outside area was very nice as well! Plenty of seating outside in the yard and on the porches. There were plenty of places in the sun and in the shade to enjoy time outdoors. The hot tub was amazing and was used every night of our stay!Overall our stay was top notch! This property is perfect for large families/groups of 6-8 people. The price was very fair for the stay. We would definitely book this cabin again!

Our week in Tennessee

Absolutely the cleanest place we have stayed at! The owners have thought of all the things to keep our teens entertained when not exploring the town from a hot tub to a full size Guitar Hero arcade game! We even got a visit by a black bear on the property (viewed from the comfort of the inside of the house)! A definite stay if ever in the area. You won't be dissatisfied!

I brought my mom and my 2 boys (10 and 12) for a 3-night getaway this week and absolutely loved this cabin. My husband and I come down at least once a year and always look to book in this general vicinity for the convenience to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This cabin location was awesome - you feel really secluded on the 2 wooded acres, but you’re only about 3 minutes off the parkway. The cabin still feels and looks new, but it’s a “cozy” new - lots of cozy furniture, blankets, pillows, and the beds were really comfortable! It was nice having the 2 big bedrooms for the adults and then the bunk room for the boys. They loved how big the bunks were and that they could get to the bathroom straight from their room.We played all the games (it was so great having an original Guitar Hero to play!), made a fire and had s’mores, the boys loved the hot tub at night, and I loved sitting on the front upper deck and reading in the quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bathrooms were super clean, and I couldn’t have been happier this week. We will absolutely be coming back to this cabin on our next trip down!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We had an incredible stay at the Gummy Bear cabin! The property was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Nestled in a peaceful location, it offered breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains, making it the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. The hot tub on the deck was a highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The location was also very convenient, just a short drive to downtown Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. We loved being close to hiking trails, Dollywood, and local dining spots, yet far enough away to enjoy some serenity.Communication with the host was seamless—they were responsive and accommodating, ensuring our stay was stress-free.I highly recommend this property for couples, families, or anyone looking for a memorable Smoky Mountain retreat. We can’t wait to return!
