I didn’t expect the parking nor all the things in the kitchen for a comfortable stay. The two jacuzzis and outdoor fireplace was enjoyable and spacious. Any guest would love all the ammenties. Thank you for everything!

The home was a wonderful gathering place for our family reunion, offering plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy their time together. There was something for all ages to do, which made it easy to keep family members entertained throughout our stay. The game room was a big hit, providing hours of fun and friendly competition. The theater room was perfect for cozy movie nights, giving us a chance to wind down together after a busy day. The pool and hot tubs were also favorites, offering both relaxation and playtime for kids and adults alike. Overall, the house had everything we needed to create special memories and made our reunion even more enjoyable.The home was overall a nice place to stay, but the cleanliness could have been a little better. The shower liners had a bit of mold on them, and the drains in the showers were slow, which made them less comfortable to use. With a little extra attention to these details, the home would have been an even more enjoyable experience.

We loved the lay out of the cabin and the size. Perfect location and amenities kept our family busy. In general the house was very clean but one basement bathroom had beer cans underneath the sink and the pool room was filthy. The floor appeared to have not been swept in quite a while…tons of dead bugs, hair ties, dirty band aids and trash. The movie theater room also has pirates booty on the floor. There was an incident where the AC unit in the movie theater room had been set too low by previous guests or the housekeeper. When we arrived the unit was dripping water all over the floor and the room was over 90 degrees. When I contacted the host I was asked to clean it up myself with towels. The host was responsive but that was certainly not our duty to clean up with the limited towels we had been getting. They ended up sending a very nice gentleman over to fix the situation but we got the impression they didn’t want to. The movie room was unusable for our entire first day. Once it was cleaned up, we absolutely loved using it. It was a huge hit for us. We also had a black bear come right up to the pool windows. It is a great cabin and perfect for large families.

Family vacation

We had 14 family members aged 3-77. Plenty of room for everyone. The families with young children had their own jack and Jill bathroom . Pools were great. Lived the theater room and game room. We would not have had to leave the property, but we did.

5-Star Cabin Experience for Large Families!

Our family of 20 had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was spacious, peaceful, and packed with everything we needed to create amazing memories together. The setting was beautiful, and we truly enjoyed every moment here.All the amenities offered were spot-on—from the fully stocked kitchen to the convenient in-and-out access from the bathroom, in door pool and Hot tubs everything was thoughtfully designed. We made use of all the features available and had a great time. This cabin is definitely ideal for large families looking to enjoy quality time together in a well-equipped, comfortable space.We do have a few suggestions that could make it even better:The living area could use more seating—currently, it doesn’t accommodate more than 8–10 people comfortably, which can be tough with a big group.The dining table for 6 isn’t quite enough when you're hosting a group of 20. A larger table or additional seating would be helpful.The hot tub area could benefit from better lighting, especially in the evening.Despite these small things, the overall experience was fantastic, and we would highly recommend this cabin to other large groups or families. There's so much to do within the cabin itself, and the space makes it easy to relax, reconnect, and have fun together.We’re grateful for the memories made here!

Fantastic stay

The house was clean and easily accessible off the main road. There is plenty of parking and having spots for the bottom floor was great for loading/unloading kids. The kitchen is probably the most well equipped I've seen in a vacation rental. The outdoor swim spa was a hit and the back deck area is great. The only downside is the noise from the road being so close and when the toilet is flushed it smells like sewage for a few minutes due to hard water and the septic being on a hill. What the house lacks in location it makes up for with all of the amenities. The arcade games kept everyone busy and the movie room was the kids favorite. We almost didn't find the movie room due to its location through the pool area. We had a great time staying at this location and never had any issues requiring us to communicate with the owner though I did receive a message upon arrival with the # to contact if we needed anything. May only be a drawback for me but a couple of the bedrooms had no dressers/drawers at all so plan accordingly if you'll need more hangers than provided.

Big Cabin but has Issues

Grand Mountain Splash is a large property with many fun amenities. Our grandsons loved the game room and the pool was fun as well, but the pool heater went out our second full day there and had to be reset, so the pool was unusable for more than a day. The cabin needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Cobwebs were in most corners. We found several maintenance issues which were quickly addressed and corrected, but it is frustrating when half of the toilets in the cabin leak or will not properly flush. The kitchen is fairly well-stocked, but a cabin that sleeps 22 should have more than 11 forks. We had to eat meals in shifts. The location is easily accessible but the parking area is very steep. We will not book this cabin again. Kudos to the management company for addressing issues quickly. We became quite acquainted with the friendly maintenance man. We were also compensated for the pool being down.

Overall stay was good, the pool room was not swept or mopped prior to visit, the pool had to be serviced during the stay. For the number of bath and bedrooms there were not enough towels, extra blankets or pillows. The stairs to the game room were not stable and need to be considered for safety. The cabin location is off the road so at night the sound of vehicles passing was more than we wanted to deal with. The cabin overall was good and making contact with the owners was easy with the exception of bad phone connections to be expected in the mountains.

Great house with no view

The home management time is excellent and the house has a lot of great features but be advised, it is on a steep incline overlooking a busy road. So no beautiful nature scenes to ponder on the porch! Also, no large open space meeting places in the home. We were there for thanksgiving and it was disappointing to not have a place for a large group to sit together for a meal.

Wonderful family home to rent!

Our family of 19 people, ranging from the ages of 5-60+ had a wonderful experience staying at this home. There was so much space and activities to keep the children and adults busy. We especially enjoyed the outdoor swim pool, as it was so hot during our stay in Tennessee. With the size of this home you never felt like it was crowded in any of the common areas. Our grandchildren were up first thing in the morning playing the arcade games and ended their evenings in the theatre room. The home was exceptionally clean. We would highly recommend this home to rent for your next family getaway!

Family getaway

We had a wonderful stay! We had 12 adults and 12 children ages 1-16. The house was very adequate for our group. Each day families left to enjoy sites in the area or to go hiking and we gathered together in the evenings for swimming and games. The property was very clean. The listing is 100% accurate. We had only a few questions and they were promptly answered via email shortly after we sent our email. Thank you!

Phenomenal House

This place was perfect- we had 4 families stay here- 17 people total. Ages between 73 -10. We had plenty of room. The kitchen was well supplied. The game room was AWESOME- and it was the CLEANEST VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. It’s the perfect location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Ideal Home for Family Vacation!

We have a large range of grandchildren - from 1- 19 years old. There were things to entertain all of them ... From the game room, the indoor swimming pool, outdoor swim spa, outdoor hot tub, and theater room ... this place had it all. With all the multiple levels and bathrooms, each family had their own spot. the main level was ideal for cooking and feeding the whole crew! Would highly recommend it. Easy access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Many things to do in the area and a wide variety to fit everyone's interests.

Great Place

Check in was super easy. We had 8 kids and 8 adults. There was so much to do. The game room was a big hit with the adults and the kids. The indoor pool was great. There was an issue with the air conditioner but I emailed the owners and someone was sent right out to fix it. The location was perfect for us, very close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cabin is close to the main road.

Perfect getaway

Grand Mountain Splash was the perfect getaway for our family. We almost didn't need to leave the house because the house is loaded with fun things. The host is incredible and quickly responded to any questions we had. Our only gripe is that we did not expect the house to be so close to the road. We were expecting more mounrain views. Other than that, we would highly recommend this house for a family getaway!

Spring break '24

This place was great for our group of 16. Your close enough to town so that is not a huge inconvenience but far enough away so your not bothered by the madness of pigeon forge or gatlinburg. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool area was great and the kids loved swimming. The upstairs game room was perfect for everyone. Lots of games to play and lots of seating for cards or large group games. The kitchen was well equipped with all the dishes we needed. Thanks for making our trip one to remember.
