We came for a vacation with our two children (6 and 2), and my In-laws. The property was overall not quite what we expected based on the listing and prior reviews, but it still made for a pretty nice getaway for a few days.
The good: Communication with the property manager was excellent, we got a lot of detailed information prior to our trip as well as check out instructions the day before departure. We also had a fairly good view (would def be better in late fall or winter), and we liked having Roku tvs in all the rooms. The mattresses were comfy, and was also nice that the stairwell had a built in gate with a latch. We enjoyed visiting the community pool.
The not so good:
The layout didn’t work really well for us; the kitchen was quite small. The logistics of the gate opening into the stairwell (rather than away from) was cumbersome and difficult to navigate safely with kids. There were a lot of items in the home that were in disrepair (noisy metal headboards in 2 rooms, broken blinds in one room, broken towel bar in one bathroom, various knobs coming off of closets/cabinets). We don’t mind dated or older places but some upkeep was definitely in order. The tubs/showers were also deep and difficult to get in and out safely. The parking area was quite steep (downhill) and small, not enough room for vehicles to park side by side. Although it is a pet friendly home we did not find sufficient space on the property or on the road (due to the narrow road) to walk the dog.
