We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The location was perfect—an easy drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mountain National Park. We loved being able to see the Dollywood fireworks each night at 9:40pm (though the drone show wasn’t visible). The views and sunsets were truly breathtaking! The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, a crockpot, cookie sheet, and cutting mats. The freezer has an ice maker, which was a nice bonus. The beds were comfortable, and with six adults, having three full bathrooms was a huge plus. Bedrooms were cool and comfortable for sleeping, and each had a fan.A few things to note: the drive up the mountain has lots of winding “S” turns—challenging at times, but worth it for the views. Parking was a bit tight for two cars. The living room furniture (sofa and chairs) wasn’t very comfortable. Also, there is no pantry, and most kitchen cabinets are filled with dishes and cookware, so food storage was tricky. We had to keep most of our non-refrigerated food on the counter, which made using the barstools difficult. Only two trash bags were provided, so bring extras if you're staying for more than a couple of days. We also loved seeing the juvenile bear that frequented the neighborhood trash cans—definitely a fun reminder that we were in the mountains!Overall, we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our stay. We'd happily return—just with a few extra supplies next time!
