"The rental was very spacious and clean. The view of the lake from the huge deck was awesome. The roomy master bedroom, which had a nice on-suite bathroom, was very comfortable, including the bed. We first tried one bedroom that was on the other side of the living area and that bed was so hard that I got up and moved to the master suite because I couldn't sleep on that rock hard mattress. The pillows were very hard, too. Also, I always bring my own food when I go to rentals due to diet restrictions. This place was rather sparsely stocked, not even having cooking oil and only providing one extra kitchen garbage bag for our stay. And, something that was a bit inconvenient was that there were no check-out procedures posted anywhere and I didn't receive an email telling me of the procedures. I tried going back into my email to see if there was a link for me to contact the property owner/manager and when clicked on the link that was provided it said they had no record of me from that email, even though I was using the email they sent me for check-in purposes. So, it made it impossible for me to contact the owner/property manager. That part was frustrating. But, the size, beauty and cleanliness of the rental kind of made up for the small-ish inconveniences."

"This property has its pros and cons. Starting with the pros, it is on a very secluded lake lot with sunset views. Nice level yard going to the lake. Sand bottom and kids could jump off the end of the pier and swim all day. Swimming was better than the fishing. Fishing was better directly across the lake in the little bay by the grasses and lily pads - perch and panfish. Not a crazy amount of boat traffic since it’s on the far end of the chain. We thought the spot was excellent. The house has three bedrooms and each room has a bathroom but there is no common bathroom so you have to go into one of the bedrooms to use a bathroom. Design of this house is a bit of a maze. This is a well lived in family home with lots of Knick knacks and personal effects everywhere. Not exactly set up for exclusive rentals. Most everything in the home is very dated but the home does have most things you need. Could have been better equipped with toiletries in each bathroom and soaps, etc. There were random things in dresser drawers and around the house so it was not completely tidy and felt very lived in. Overall if you have an ounce of pretentiousness this might not be the place for you, but if you can appreciate someone sharing their family home with you so you can have a great lake experience and you don’t mind the older nostalgia, then this will do the job. Price was right."
