Encantadora casa de campo en el impresionante entorno frente al mar

The Cottage at Washington Harbour se encuentra en una laguna natural de agua salada junto al Estrecho de Juan De Fuca a unos 2, 5 millas al este de Sequim. Ubicado en un refugio de vida silvestre privado de 190 acres, un paraíso para observadores de aves, kayakistas y amantes de la naturaleza. La última casa en una calle sin salida significa una estancia tranquila y pacífica. A minutos de compras en Sequim y de actividades al aire libre ilimitadas en el Parque Nacional Olympic y el Olympic Discovery Trail. La cabaña tiene vistas a la laguna, el estrecho, Protection Island y Mount Baker. Dos nidos de águila calva activos se encuentran en las costas norte y sur de la laguna donde viven las águilas durante todo el año. Focas, nutrias, garzas azules y más todo fuera de su puerta. We stayed one month at the Cottage during the winter and although the amount of sun on the property was at its lowest, we absolutely enjoyed everything about it! The house is very comfortable with everything we needed, the property is an expansive lawn with some beautiful trees here and there overlooking a large tidal lagoon with spectacular views and a special location that is quiet, privacy and yet not far from town at all!

This is an extremely peaceful, quiet, clean and welcoming cottage with wonderfully helpful hosts! Lord willing, we will return again. Well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. We had a list of activities we were considering but once we settled in we did not want to go anywhere!

We fell in love with the sunroom and its view of the water. We also cooked a big pot of stew and invited the friends we were visiting over for dinner. It was lovely to host them in such a cozy and comfortable place. And the kitchen is wonderful!

My friend and I had the most amazingly relaxing weekend at this property! The cottage was adorable! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bedding and towels were top quality, the cottage itself was impeccably clean. Without a doubt one of the absolute best places at which we have stayed!We loved being away from everyone yet still within a 10 minute drive of downtown. Waking up and sitting in the sunroom with coffee in the mornings was a great start to the day!In the evening we crashed on the very comfy couches and enjoyed access to a number of streaming services.Communication with Deborah, the host, was always easy, quick, and helpful.5 stars - highly recommend!

Highly recommended! We spent 4 nights relaxing and exploring the Sequim area. Great place in a great location right on the lagoon and close to town. The cabin has everything -- a great kitchen with everything needed for meals, great deck for relaxing while watching the bird life, great sunroom for when the temperatures drop, great bedrooms, and great privacy. Oh, and a great, friendly owner. The very high guest ratings are well deserved.

We had a great time at this cottage. I had a hard time leaving the sunroom to go about our other Sequim activities. The lagoon is beautiful and so full of birds! The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, a great kitchen and so quiet. We really want to come back again and again.

We had a truly lovely stay. I'm afraid to say much positive things as bookings can be hard to get and we want the place to ourselves, eh.There were so many bonuses like hummingbirds constantly feeding in front of the main windows. An eagle couple bathed then perched on a bare tree nearby. And the blackberries! The home was well appointed, everything was spot on. I especially liked the hot water on tap, instant chocolate or chai. It's a really sweet cottage!

Beautiful manicured setting overlooking a magnificent lagoon and beyond the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island National Wildlife Refuge, and the San Juan Islands and Mt Baker are visible.Everything about this house makes you want to spend time there. It’s a multiple year vacation choice for us and we’ve booked 2026 already. There is no nicer place to stay on VRBO if you like quiet, an incomparable setting and a well designed, very comfortable house. The Best.
