I would recommend this hotel for people on a budget and yet expect good quality service, cleanliness and accessible to shops, restaurants and transportation. Travelled with my daughter and found this hotel as secured and located in safe area of Seoul. However, poor wifi signal in rooms. Have to stay in cafe lobby to access wifi. Overall, our experience is very good and would stay here again next time we visit Seoul.

Right in the middle of everyhing. Shuttle bus stops at front door to both Seoul airports. Basic living and sleeping needs - I like very much. Short walk to subway. Great location - great value.

Comfortable rooms, on the small side, but you get a bed and a futon. Not much room for luggage. Bathroom is very small. Full size bath towels. Shower is awesome-rainforest shower head, front jets, and a handheld shower head. Filtered water unit in hallway. Laundry room has dryers! Also iron, ironing board, detergent, and dryer sheets. 2 computers for use in lobby. On Subway line 4. Connections to lines 2 and 5. Airport bus stops directly in front of hotel. 1 1/2 hours to Gimpo. 2 hours to Incheon. Close to Cheonggyecheon Stream. Great for walking. Lots of shopping nearby. Staff are great. They let me leave some of my luggage here, 5 days before I checked in, while I traveled to other places in Korea.

The hotel is located pretty close to shopping area, metro stattion, plus there's great variety of food options around the area.

This hotel although small is very clean and accessible to Dongdaemun Shopping Centers. Airport limousine stops right in front of the hotel and subway stops are walking distance. Staff can speak and understand English and are very courteous. I will definitely book in this hotel again should we decide to go back to Seoul.

This was a nice hotel to stay at, was clean and everyone was very nice Easy access to airport and close to subway .

It's all renovated and very close to DongDaeMoon which is the one of the most popular shopping areas in Korea. The room was very clean and cozy, bathroom was tiny though.

Airbus 6001 takes you right to the hotel door step, which is very convenient, but be aware that there's another similar name hotel " Western Coop" in the bus' previous stop, and due to language barrier, I showed my hotel reservation printout to the driver, but was informed to get off at that WRONG stop! (lol, can't even trust the bus driver?). So make sure you get off at the Uljiro CO-OP Residence stop, the stop in its name. But relaxed, even if you get off at the earlier wrong stop, this hotel is only a short 3 to 5 minute walk, not big deal. The hotel is opposite to a noisy hospital, which I don't see any review mentioning it. My mom didn't like to see ambulance running around during a holiday, but had no choice since it was prepaid. We got there around 10 am, but could not check into the room since they insist on the 2pm check in policy, otherwise we had to pay 25000 won. So we decided to store our luggage and walk around the vicinity. There's a cheap and delicious toasted sandwich stand to the right side of the hotel when you walk out, and a 24 hr convenient store. Of course, shopping is also at a stone's throw away, the Lotte duty free at the right corner, and several department store across the street (some budget ones, and some upscale ones). Food is not a problem, as there are restaurants around the hotel, and in every department store upper floor. However, we couldn't find any supermarket within walking distance, that makes the small kitchen in the room useless. The room is extremely small but efficient, almost the size of a train cabin with shower, stove, microwave, and fridge. If you won't spend much time in the room, it's good enough as the room is clean and internet super fast. There is a coin op laundry room and fitness center with treadmills and cycling in the base floor. There's also a water purifier dispenser in every floor with hot water, what a thoughtful facility! Myeondong shopping is just 2 stops away by subway, underneath the Lotte duty free store at the right hand side, so transportation is not a problem. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind opposite to a hospital.

Pros: Easy to go everywhere. Like the kitchenette, wifi, and the laminated floor. Good storage design. Cons: Bathroom too small. Lack of in-room safety box.

We stayed here for six nights and really appreciated how conveniently we were located. The 6001 limousine bus takes you directly to the hotel from Incheon airport for 14,000 won (paid on the bus) and the driver calls out each hotel to see who needs to get dropped off. The automated announcements will say a few "Uljiro" names along the way which got confusing as to which one we needed, so just listen for "Western Co-op" which will be your penultimate stop. The front desk staff are friendly and multilingual (at least with English). The rooms are small but pretty clean and there's a hairdryer, mini fridge, microwave, stove top, TV, air conditioning, and free wifi. The free wifi was so helpful since we didn't have an international data plan on our phones and you can't always get free wifi when you're running around Seoul (at least if you're moving around like we were). The shower being right next to the toilet took some getting used to, but for our purposes, it turned out to be fine especially considering the price/location. Just close the toilet seat before you turn on the shower, run the fan, and let the bathroom de-fog afterwards. Plastic sandals are provided but you may want to bring or purchase your own flip flops (there's tons of places for discount shopping within short walking distance; see below) since the whole bathroom gets wet. There was a lot of storage space inside the room (big closet, drawers, desk) so if you're staying for a while, you have space to unpack. The room is also "green" meaning you have to insert your hotel key card into a slot to activate the lights/tv/air conditioning in the room. This is a great hotel if you're planning on being out and about in Seoul. We didn't use the restaurant, fitness, laundry or business facilities so I can't comment on those; our main purpose was to explore the city which I think should be your mindset if staying in this hotel. It's very close to the 2, 4, and 5 subway lines (walking to the #3 line at Dongguk University Station takes a bit longer but you can also take line 4 for one stop and transfer to the 3 at Chungmuro station). Seoul Station is only about 4 stops away on the 4 line if you need to take the KTX to another city or take the AREX to Incheon Airport. If you want to shop, you can take the 4 a few stops over to Hoehyeon station to go to Shinsegae Department Store, Namdaemun Market, and all the shops in between. It's also walkable if you are feeling up to it. Even closer to the hotel is Dongdaemun Fashion Town which has outdoor night markets and street food as well as big indoor malls. There are also plenty of convenience stores near the hotel for drinks/snacks/incidentals. We went to several different areas of Seoul by the subway near the hotel very easily: Hongdae, Samcheongdong, Gangnam/Sinsadong. If you're taking a cab back to the hotel, it may be easier to say the hotel is near the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station (which is different from Dongdaemun Station) or in phonetic Korean "Dongdaemun Yeok-Sa Moon Hwa Gohng Won Yeok" if the driver isn't familiar with Uljiro Co-op. Most cabs have GPS though, so as long as you have the hotel address on hand, you should be fine. Overall, the hotel's location allowed us to get around Seoul easily and was a nice comfortable stop at the end of a long day. I recommend for active travelers who want a standard room at a reasonable price.

Amenities are included so is perfect for long stay. Handled my international fax request with no problems. English language ability was appropriate to my needs. Great place!

I maybe a little biased because Im used regular hotels with room service and all. However this is different more like an upscale hostel. The staff are helpful and speak english.

Each room came with a kitchenette which allowed my boyfriend and I to save money on food. The location is fantastic, 3 minutes walk to one of the best shopping district Seoul has to offer. The hotel staff were always eager to help us with any inquiry that we had and we were supplied with fresh towels and bedding everyday.

The hotel is at a perfect location. It's just couple blocks from the subway station. You can get to most of the attractions easily. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel and they are all open late. The room is clean and decent and the staff are nice and speaks pretty good English.

very near to subway, convenient to any tourist spots & shopping area

The location was fantastic for the price paid. The airport bus (6001) stops just right outside the hotel plus it is less than 5 mins walk from the Seoul metro. Best of all, that station is the interchange for 3 lines so it is really convenient. Just opposite the hotel is the Dongdaemun Fashion Town so there are plenty of shopping and dining options available. Free internet via the lan access is also available in the room. While the room and toilet is small, it is cosy enough for 2 people to share. It's a hotel that I will definitely return to the next time I'm in Seoul!
