Excellent hotel. For US travelers, please know that use of the pool is an extra charge, but we’ll worth it in the heat of summer.
Good but not great. The AC was difficult to operate. The staff were very nice.
Great stay in the 1300 sqft room. The price, location, and quality in the room/service it exceeded our expectations. Will definitely return. Will note there is no dryer in the unit as most Koreans hang dry. The washer was extremely loud but did its job.
One of the most spacious hotel rooms I've ever been in. It is quite a lovely place to be in. In addition, the area isn't that bad at all either. :)
Our 8-night stay at The Classic 500 in July 2015 was great! Breakfast buffet was reasonable I would have liked more variety between different days though. The Spa/sauna was awesome and there's a facility fee of 33,000 won for hotel guests.
This is a great residence style hotel for family vacation. We really enjoyed staying here and loved their Spa/sauna facility. It's also conveniently located right next to a Lotte Department store and Emart. I'd definitely stay here again.
It's great room for big family Great location... close to groceries and shopping
Serviced residence. Fabulous gym, very comfortable. Room is clean daily but not enough shampoo/body wash supplied. Sometimes, none is supplied. So I just bought my own.
We were really shocked at how large the room was. Easily 130-150 sq meters (1500 sq feet). The number of amenities in the room was almost comical. The room included a convection/microwave oven combo, a washer/dryer combo, clothes hamper, wine cooler, full kitchen, something that looked like a trash compactor, top of the line bidet toilet by toto, adjustable bed, separate makeup vanity, large walk-in shower w/rain shower head, four televisions (one in kitchen and next to washroom) and a security system. Redonk. The fitness center was enormous with high quality equipment and available staff on hand. Some problems with the hotel: 1. Only 1 free breakfast which meant we had to cover the cost of the other person. As a westerner, the food wasn't very palatable. Many choices but nearly nothing resembling what we're used to in terms of breakfast food. The staff weren't very friendly in the restaurant either. 2. The controls in the room were VERY hard to figure out. After four nights in the room I still wasn't able to figure out how to draw the blinds up in order to enjoy the sweeping city view. Figuring out how to turn all the lights off was difficult, as was adjusting the AC temperature. 3. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice of them to include some sodas and snacks - maybe a bottle of champagne. 4. The location is near a metro stop but it's really far away from the city center. Getting their by taxi from the Seoul Station was expensive and very difficult. 5. The couch wasn't very comfortable. Overall the room was a great value. Lots of room but a lot of wasted space and wasted amenities. Why would I need a trash compactor, a makeup vanity and a wine cooler? I stayed here because it was listed as the #3 hotel in Seoul on a major review site. It was a great experience, but on future trips I'd probably stay somewhere more central.
