The location was excellent, front desk people were friendly, housekeeping was excellent! The room was too warm, the window clear view was too narrow, interior was too dark. Just wished they offered breakfast.
Heated floors and friendly staff. Provided diverse cultural friendly breakfast during stay.
Room and bathroom were clean and bigger than expected. There is remote controller for air conditioner/heater.
The hotel is tucked in a quiet area close to food and shopping. Walking distance to anything from McDonalds to street food. Great souvenir shopping. The hotel is small with a wonderful cafe, very clean rooms, helpful staff, and great amenities- slippers, robe, refrigerator.
The hotel staff were always there to help. They ensured we had taxis when we needed them, gave us great directions and instructions. Without them, we would have been lost.
We were delighted with our 3 night stay at the Sunbee Hotel. The staff could not have been nicer, the rooms are generous in size and clean The breakfasts were huge. Be advised that it is tucked away on a side street so it is very quiet, but also very hard to find the first time.
The hotel could not have a better location for tourists to Seoul. I was less than one block from the craft shops and restaurants on the historic Insadong and centrally located between two of the most highly rated Palaces - one of them a UNESCO world heritage site. I traveled alone (over 65 year old female) and was able to walk to both and visit each leisurely in one day. The hotel was comfortable and the staff attentive and helpful. Breakfast was custom made and really good. I had an incident where I left my iPad when I left for the airport. I emailed from the airport, and the staff responded immediately and said they had my computer safely stored at the desk. My local friend picked it up for me a couple of days later. I cannot say enough good things about them.

I can only praise this small hotel for their great service, helpfulness, and assistance WAY beyond what I have experienced at any hotel. First, I am a business traveler and am on the road often and for over 30 years. But the service I received from this hotel would rank at the very top! Upon checking in, one member of the hotel staff was so kind as to walk me blocks to an area that he felt I would enjoy dining in that evening. After enjoying a nice dinner and returning to my room, I received a phone call from the front desk. They wanted to make sure I was happy with my chosen restaurant and asked if there was anything more they could do for me that night. Approximately an hour later I needed a power adapter for my computer, no problem -- the hotel desk provided me with one. In the middle of the night the adapter stopped working, but again no problem. The hotel looked around until they could locate another one for me to use. In the morning they knew I planned on taking a bus to the airport to catch my flight. Instead of providing me with a map to walk the 10 minutes to the stop, I was escorted to the bus stop by one of the front desk staff again, who handled both of my bags for me the entire time. When reaching the bus stop I was so very politely told how thankful and pleased they were at the hotel that I had chosen to stay at their hotel. Again, how many hotels would ever go this far to provide service? I encourage you to stay here. You will be very glad!
Hotel is very difficult to find, in fact our taxi driver with GPS could not find it - we gave up, got out and wandered a bit (it's off the Insadong road) and finally did. We were given a warm welcome but arrived too early to check in, but were able to stash bags and use rest rooms and get maps and helpful directions from staff. Room itself was great - two bed double room with huge and fantastic bathroom, tons of amenities including full sized toiletries. Wifi was great. Room was definitely a smoker's room, smell disappeared after A/C was used. Location is perfect. Beds very comfortable and hard in the Asian way.
Clean, big rooms, everything we needed in a great location. I would definitely stay here again!
